Clockwise to lock, counterclockwise to unlock.

Is that true for all locks? Even if that is the case, I'm sure you could get a custom one that went the other way if you wanted to.

It's actually not true for all locks. The front and back door on my house had locks replaced at different times with locks that don't match. They also turn in opposing directions. Confuses the **** out of my habits when I'm going to unlock them.

But if this worked what would happen if she forgot which order she locked them in? She would forever be locked out because she would always be relocking half of the.

Well I would assume that she is using a key not a lock-pick, think before you post

~cant tell if being out done in the sarcasm or if your really that dumb~

The Whole idea is idiotic because a lockpick works the same as a key if you know when you have unlocked the door with a key, you would have the same information when picking the lock. Lock picking is just manually moving the pins rather than having the keys groves and peaks of the key automatically do it for you.

Bump keys are much easier to use, that wouldn't work on them.

if you're that worried, just get a 10 inch thick steel door with a combination lock similar to a safe, and a German Shepard.

they're fuzzy and nice :3

But well wouldn't he be trying to unlock? then he would turn all the locks in the same direction, unless they unlocked in opposite directions that would be brilliant

Locked locks give more resistance than non-locked ones.

Great apart from when you have to turn it one way to lock it and the other to unlock so it would become apparent pretty quickly which he is doing.

Also. if you lock the top three and leave the bottom if he works top down he will get in quicker.

well you turn the lock the opposing way of the door when you pick them, so this wouldnt work at all. nice try though
