Which way is she turning?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain.
If anti-clockwise, then you use more of the left side of the brain.

You know that feeling when you get chills from a song that you REALLY enjoy? That's the release of endorphins into the body. It's similar to 1/18th of a 5 inch joint of marijuana.

I'm ambidextrous but am nearly entirely right-brained when it comes to thinking. I am right brain internally and left brain externally. I use left brain in behavior, emotions, etc. I do, however, have an incredibly over-active imagination that my left brain tries to handle and organize.
#85 to #78 - pariahlol (02/09/2013) [-]
I'm pretty much the same with the exception of the ambidextrous part. My biggest secret is that when I'm alone I jump around and reenact my imagination like an 8 year old.
User avatar #87 to #85 - endface ONLINE (02/09/2013) [-]
Don't worry, I do that inside my head. When I move the least, I am - in fact - the most active.
#132 to #87 - pariahlol (02/09/2013) [-]
Me too, I sit there in class, dreaming of worlds of my own design. However, I sometimes feel as though I can get more of a release from moving while I think it through. I'm incredibly right brain, however, I also think very logically. Most people know me as a really smart person (I got a 33 on my ACT, and my IQ is above 130), but I'm 20x as imaginative. It's almost crippling at times, but so extremely useful at other times. That's why I plan on going into video game design for a career, to help me exert my creative potential.

An example of this would be this thread: funnyjunk.com/channel/fucking-science/well....+I+guess+that+s+that/iadmGvn/145#145

I've on a different plane than that - similar, not higher - based on the theoretical evolutionary possibilities of the human race when isolated in different environments on different planets and the result of how they physically, socially, and mentally do or do not adapt to said environments. That's where I'm at right now, and I'm writing books based on that universe.
#139 to #138 - pariahlol (02/10/2013) [-]
My thought process regarding the future is currently focused on the developement of technology, our evolution, and our society and the relationship between these two as time progresses, and then an overarching theme of Man becoming Gods. I've been considering writing a story about this, as I already have the plots for a storyline regarding this dreamed up. I feel like my thoughts on it are going too fast though, because as I begin thinking up one plot, I've already begun thinking up a sequel.
User avatar #140 to #139 - endface ONLINE (02/10/2013) [-]
We're coming to an interesting point, many scientists believe, where we are going to have to evolve ourselves in order to survive ourselves. It's quite fascinating what the many theories of directions we will head.

This is oversimplified fluff to make people happy.

Practically, there is no brain function or action you can do that doesn't involve regions scattered all over the brain to achieve. The left-right divide model of how our brains work is really quite outdated nowadays, it just lets liberal arts students feel that they had no choice about undertaking a pointless career...

Right handed people use their left side of the brain more. Left handed people use both sides more or less equally.

If You're right handed, that means that the left side of Your brain is more...whats the word, powerful, stronger, dominant, i dont know. and vice versa. which basically means if you're LEFT handed then you're all colorful and trippy.
