Just saying. Science can never prove the existence of a god wrong, that would contradict everything science stands for.

But science can prove every single god humanity has ever dreamt up wrong, rather easily.

Whether everything was an accident in the universe, or created for any purpose, that's where it ends. It's not relevant to day-to-day life. It's one thing to think there's a higher power, but religion is retarded. If there is a long lived being that created everything, I'm 100% sure it didn't send a magician down and call it his son, it doesn't care what gender I put my penis in, and whether or not we spend one day a week thinking about it while talking about fairy tales, it does not give a shiny golden ****.

If there is something you could call a god, I'm sure it doesn't even give a thought to the day to day life of one species on one planet.

If anything, Christians are still atheists. They have a strict belief that every other God in every other religion, dead or alive, does not exist, and that theirs is the one and only. At least the Greeks had a God for each element and idea, which would make alot of sense. Tsunami? Posideon is angry. Intense lightning storm? Zeus is pissed more than usual. More people dying than usual? Hades did not have a sufficient sacrifice. But now, people just blame everything on "God's wrath towards the sinners". Everyone in Christianity is damned to Hell by default. I don't think that's how it is in religions that aren't monotheistic.

Everyone in Christianity is born into sin. When you sin, you will goto Hell. Babies can't ask for forgiveness. No forgiveness = Damned to hell

"Everyone in Christianity" - have you studied all of Christianity? do you realize what some of branches out there are like? (westboro being one example)

Now you're talking about babies specifically, you weren't doing that before. You changed your statement from "Everyone" to "babies".

you cheeky little devil you :P

i don't feel like having a logic debate, but have a nice day!

There's this extremely strong christian in my school who really pisses me off. I might try this and see what his reaction is.

Well, that's 2000+ different cultures that believe in deities.

Surely there must've been something to make them believe such. Perhaps an extraterrestrial being primal society misinterpreted as a deity? Perhaps an actual deity.

There's so much we don't know, and so much we'll never know.

First one most likely.

But if we show up to a less advanced civilizations and they see us as gods, does that make us supernatural?

There are actually quite a few ideas that don't involve aliens. The current thinking is that it's a byproduct of the evolution of our brains. There are a few decent books on the subject, such as Why God Won't Go Away, and The God Delusion (highly recommended).

But what can be categorized as a Supernatural being because if we get in tight spots our adrenaline gets rushing and we all can get superhuman strength for that split second in time like the 300 lb guy that lifted a helicopter off his buddy.

False, the Lord of Light is the only true god. Well, him and the Other, who's name must not be said.

No, that's stupid. Being an atheist is believing in strictly zero deities. Being a theist is believing in at least one. These are not relative terms.

Uh....my definition of atheism may be off, but from what I know, you either are or you aren't.
Representing atheists well, I see.

You could be an agnostic atheist (aka don't know if there's a god, but living your life assuming that such a thing doesn't exist )
