It's funny because black people with an enslaved ancestor have better lives than the ones still in Africa.

What does the Bible say about a couple dudes holding hands? As far as I know, that Old Testament verse is about sex between men, and there's a lot of other **** in the Old Testament that Christians ignore. A minority of them just got a little picky with them and a few others agreed with them without thinking about it.

But without the slaves, those faggots wouldn't be able to hold hands in a highly developed country.

Well, just to be a troll and a cynical bastard, even though it was a "lifestyle" in an archaic society, slavery actually GOT **** DONE!

Now what has homosexuality brought us? Elton dressed up in a Donald Duck suit on stage? Yeeaaaah... I'll pass.

inb4 "YOU HOMOPHOBIC FAGGET" (huehuehue), I have absolutely nothing against gays, Freddie Mercury and Rob Halford are 2 of my favorite musicians.

how dare you say you are not homophobic if you have no problem with the bible condemning the genocide of gay people. Also imagine if someone in your family, like your sister or mother, was a slave and you could never see them again and didn't know what was happening to they, they could even be raped and tortured! would you still tell me that slavery is necessary! re evaluate your life man

- I never said I don't have any problems with the Bible (or any other religious book)
- I didn't ever said I agree with slavery
- I didn't ever said that slavery is necessary
- You obviously missed the point of my post

maybe that section of the bible meant to literally lie next to and had nothing to do with sex? wouldn't that be funny.

Except that makes absolutely no ******* sense, and the bible also mentions how gays won't go to heaven. Yeah, twist this **** all you want, friend.

I was joking..... like wouldn't it be funny if the whole christian anti gay thing was due to a translation error when they translated the bible from hebrew, to ancient greek to latin then to english. some people have no sense of humour

niether, slaves back then werent as slaves are today. it was more like master and servant, those born wealthy, and those who had to work for money. the slavery tht came to be know by us today is much more racist and cruel.

anon won't hear this but I'll write it for the rest of you, that is what slavery was like for people from Israel but it said to take them from other countries and they would have been treated badly

gay wannabe cowboy faggots. Everytime I wear my cowboy hat it's always "lolol u luk lyk ur from broekbak mntn lolololol."

I'd rather have slavery, it was better than this reverse racist society we live in today by a long shot.

well if I instructed people who follow me to "kill gay people" but only once, I wouldn't be homophobic? it is amplified by the belief that God is all knowing through time and **** that if he would be to say something he would mean it. and also there are loads of stories and commandments were God says to kill gay people and have slaves:

Now, i'm fairly certain that the exodus phrase was regarding how the Egyptians treated the Jewish slaves. Egypt is what you may refer to as an "antagonist" in exodus
