What's funny is that it's a Thoroughbred, and a 16 year old failed racer at that. Go to the Olympics and you'll almost never see a Thoroughbred doing highjumps,that's dominated by Hanoverians and Selle Francias.

horses can jump crazily high without injuring themselves. Leg breaks are very sad because there's nothing you can do about them, but are pretty rare. Remember the Grand National fences used to be absolutely massive? The ones who broke their legs weren't the ones who got a clean jump, it wasn't the height that got em, it was crashing into other horses, or putting a foot into the ditch on the other side. This is a more modern one.
