Because of college work, I have to stay up to 48 hours awake, usually, caffeine is the only things the keeping me awake, aside from the casual fap, anyway, when I'm too tired and my hearts beating fast, I would close my eye, and visualize my room, about a few minutes later, I will start having a visual hallucination, * not sure if this is considered lucid dreaming but its very entertaining.

I tend to lucid dream almost every time I sleep. I realize I'm dreaming because I don't have my insulin pump on me while I'm dreaming. Then I usually wake up right after realizing this.

I might get thumbed into oblivion but in all seriousness I must let this be known. You needed to post this under the Katawa Shoujo board. Seriously. I can only assume that lucid dreaming will help so many people trying the deal with that VN. Myself included...

I only had a lucid dream once, I looked at my hands and they transformed into brick and mortar and I started smashing through walls and got too excited and woke up. MFW I've been trying to lucid dream ever since

I heard that you aren't supposed to look in a mirror during dreams. If you do, you will see yourself as you see yourself deep down.

You'll look so distorted you might jolt yourself out of sleep due to fear.

What works for me is waking up at like 5, occupying yourself for about an hour and a half then sleeping on the couch. So far its worked every time for me.

Reposting from my good friend theugandanhero

Anywhore, the first thing that you need to remember about it is that you can do it regardless if you're tired or not really that tired at all (but it helps if you're not drinking coffee right beforehand, as I've come to realize), and that what you may have read about the "correct" sleeping position is more or less wrong. You just need to lay down, put yourself in the absolute most comfortable spot for your body, and close your eyes. The next thing that you absolutely MUST do is focus on keeping yourself awake, and by doing so you can successfully make your mind wander into the "Sleep Paralysis" stage (and in my opinion, it's much easier to just let your mind wander a bit rather than trying to keep yourself mentally awake, you just need a good balance of the two). After you enter the "Sleep Paralysis" stage, you'll know, because you'll start to feel vibrations and start hearing what sounds like a close helicopter. During this, you must NOT be scared and try waking yourself up or anything like that, you must succumb to the Sleep Paralysis and just calm yourself down and just keep telling yourself under control. And when that happens and you're not feeling vibrations, you've successfully entered your subconscious, Lucid Dreaming mind. And after all that, basically what you can do now is shape and mold your dreams to your every need and desire!

I had an interesting case of lucid dreaming this one time. I was having a dream were I was doing homework at our kitchen table (exciting, right?) when I fell asleep. I immediately went into the next dream. At some point I realized I was dreaming and proceeded to fly out of my house to find someone to ****. But the thing was, I thought I was dreaming, and was STILL ON THE KITCHEN TABLE. I did not realize that the me on the table was, in fact, another dream until after I woke the second time.

Only 1 in 8 have lucid dreams? I'm 17 and I've had dozens of dreams that are at least partially lucid.

Lucid dreaming is pretty fun, but in the beginning, you push too hard and end up waking yourself up ALL THE TIME. Once you can control it, though, it's a blast. My first lucid dream happened when I was twelve and consisted of me 'spawning' things like go-karts and dirtbikes. Also, Willy Wonka was there. He wouldn't ******* get out of the go-kart.

I lucid dream all the time. I usually use it to play video games that don't exist.

Protip: Bulletstorm Boarderlands Gears of War is ******* amazing.

It's not that ******* easy

Difficulty level monk.

Successfully initiated WILD. I imagine thats what LSD is like. ******* crazy to upload yourself directly into the dream world without loosing consciousness.

Now I can't do much of ****. My abilities are zero. It's extremely hard. You need at least a year of dedicated practice to really get somewhere.

A very select few though, I hear are extremely talented. Never tried LD pills. Maybe one day.

not every time, no, but they make even non-lucid dreams vivid and really memorable.

But with a 50 count bottle, i have lots of attempts, so its not disappointing if one night fails. The CZ worked the one time I tried, but was almost half as expensive and only had 6.

Alright thanks a lot man. I think im just gonna start with Choline pills and work my way up. I want to try the galantamine but i read if youre not very experienced with lucid dreams it can really freak you out.
