As most have said below, all of the time turners were wiped out in book 5 as a result of the battle in the department of mysteries. And that aside, it's made clear that messing with time can have disastrous consequences. To that end, I'm still not sure why it was deemed okay for that part of the story(aside from Dumbledore more or less saying, "Yeah, do dat" because he knew Hermione had a time turner.)

My recollection of Home Alone. The phones from France(?) could not contact the home, my guess is because it's overseas, not that Kevin's phone was broken.

Fun fact of the day: Cigarettes, before paper, were rolled in more tobacco leaves, as cigars still are.

1. Maybe it's an involuntary reflex.
3. Cigarettes might have been rolled with leaves of some sort. I've never seen the movie though, I don't know.
8. Between midnight and dawn, would make sense.

#10 Hermione gave the Time-turner back at the end of PoA, as she could no longer handle the workload of all the classes she'd been using it for. When the group of Dumbledore' Army vagrants fights the Death Eaters at the Ministry in OotP, the break the Ministry of Magic's entire supply of Time-turners. This is explained to Hagrid in THBP.

I always thought the gremlins one was due to the moon being highest at midnight, and they'd have to be under it to work
