As most have said below, all of the time turners were wiped out in book 5 as a result of the battle in the department of mysteries. And that aside, it's made clear that messing with time can have disastrous consequences. To that end, I'm still not sure why it was deemed okay for that part of the story(aside from Dumbledore more or less saying, "Yeah, do dat" because he knew Hermione had a time turner.)

My recollection of Home Alone. The phones from France(?) could not contact the home, my guess is because it's overseas, not that Kevin's phone was broken.

With Jurrasic pak im guessing most of the ground is level with the fence except for that one section which drops off into a ditch due to it being an area for water run off (since there a large storm drain pipe at the bottom where the girl is told to hide).

For the Gremlins, you don't have to get into the timezone thing to debunk it... any time of the day, no matter where in the world you are, it is always after midnight. Think about it. But if you want to patch up that plothole, you can say the midnight rule refers to the internal clock of the Mogwai which syncs up with the day/night transitions they are in.

Also, "what if a dog could play basketball" is an example of a high-concept.

The movie was not about jasmine not being able to marry a prince - she was mad at alladin for lying. Then when jafar was a wizard he undid genies magic and made alladin not a prince anymore.

It tells you in the Harry Potter books that Hermione gave back the time-turner after the third year because she didn't want it anymore and then they smashed all of the other time-turners when they infiltrated the Ministry in the fifth book.

In BttF, if you follow one belief about time travel, is that the original timeline Marty was from is the "regular" timeline, where no travel took place. After he travelled back in time, the timeline would have forked to create a new alternate timeline in which he did travel through time, and he would cease to exist in the original timeline.

Only in any timeline created after that would his mom have the potential to recognize him. Otherwise it would have occurred in whatever way that original timeline had decided upon. But we don't see his parents much at all anyway.

It could simply be that she didn't really remember what that "calvin klein" guy looked like by the time Marty was born, or she would have just ignored it citing it as a coincidence. I mean the guy could have been her husbands relative and she didn't want to bring it up, so that could explain why she might recognize him, but not question it.

Obviously you have not read all the Harry Potter books because in the the 5th book (Order of Phoenix) it clearly says that in the battle in the Ministry of Magic all the time turners got destroyed by a charm/hex or curse.

Did you know Air Bud was the same dog who played Comet on Full House?

Aladdin: Street urchin marries indian looking princess with pet tiger that is not native to any part of the Middle East in an Ottoman era arabian city and meets a genie, part of arab mythology that predates Islam. Someone explain the logic.
