I like how you think respecting the families in mourning over one of the biggest losses of young life in this country is "little unimportant ****".

I can't begin to fathom how these people feel, and I certainly don't wish that feeling on my enemies.
Admittedly this country isn't going in the path I'd like it to, but these so called little things gives the communities ways to bond, connect, and grow stronger over.
Unfortunately it is over a tragedy in this case.

They made a statement that God sent the killer to kill the children because of gay marriage and that they would picket at the children's funeral.

That's because there is a fair amount of intimidation from the communities, like this, and /b/ who has ****** with them in the past. Still though it's less than what they deserve. From soldiers to children though? You have to have some kind of disorder to do this ****.

On their growing list of enemies:
Biker Gangs
/b/ (and most of the internet)
The Armed forces
Most of America's public (to avoid redundancy)
And the KKK

The last one is just priceless too... You're being told to calm the **** down by people who SPECIALIZE in hating everyone who's different.

There church of 60 or so members believes heavily in the Old Testament, which has extreme views, they think all the bad things that happen are due to God "punishing" us for our sins, they protest funerals of fallen soldiers, they also protested 9-11, and often will go to random places holding hate signs such as "god hates fags" The more you know

Westboro is coming to my campus this Saturday at a basketball game.
This is the second time they tried to come here.
First time was because the womens basketball coaches died in a plane crash and they said it was God's will for not allowing them to protest there previously. Luckily a radio station said that they would give them 15 minutes on the radio if they didnt come.
Some dude in a frat house molested the other members while they were sleeping, and now they're taking it out on the campus.
>MFW they get to Heavens gate and God slaps them in the face and sends them to Hell.

They are a "church" that has vastly perverted the teachings of Christ, and like to protest with signs like "God hates fags" and "Thank God for dead soldiers".

I feel the need to clarify that the rest of the American Church has basically disowned them, and all they want is attention.

Its a church group that thinks that all bad things like soldiers dying in the war, the shooting that happened in the state of Connecticut and basically all other horrible things is caused by God punishing America for people that support homosexuality and such.

What WBBC is doing takes freedom of speech, ***** in its mouth, pulls down its pants, shoves a dildo the size of Texas up its urethra, and then twists its nipples, all while laughing hysterically at the look of agony and indignation on speech's metaphorical face.

what the group was doing is taking the beloved freedom of speech to far. they murder the rights of others by abusing theirs. You have the right to say what you want, yes. You do not however have the right to abuse others verbally, which is exactly what they where planning to do by yelling that the deaths of their children is the will of God.

There is a point when you just don't do the things they do. You DO NOT go the funeral of a fallen soldier or 6 year old child and say they died because of homosexuality. It may be someone's opinion to say such things but it's just something you just shouldn't do period. Yes, we have freedom of speech but there is a point when you keep you mouth shut.

All I ment it's common sense to keep your mouth shut when it comes to certain things no matter what your beliefs are. There is a such thing as a silent opinion. Seriously... it's hardly a week after the shooting in Newtown. The bodies aren't even cold, atleast wait until the New Year. Give the families time to grieve and get through the holidays the best they can.

And yes, I do understand common sense isn't all that common.

Yeah and those parents whose kids they are burying have a right to not want those assholes anywhere near the funerals.
They have no connection to these people and have no right bothering them in such ways during this time of morning.

Even if you were to try to look at it through their eyes they have absolutely no point in being there. There so called reasoning for protesting make no sense at all. Why would "God" punish 1st graders for allowing tolerance of gays. They don't even know what that means. There is no connection to gay people whatsoever about this shooting.
They are nothing but inconsiderate assholes that will all burn in hell (if it exists). I guarantee they would be flipping the **** out if they were to have even half of what they dish out, handed right back to them. I hope so much that will be legally seen as a hate and lose their tax cuts. Then maybe they will finally go away if they can't afford their ********.

Just restating my reply to pepemex. All they did was stand there. They did not riot, they did not prevent entrance into the school, and the campus permitted them to be there. The made no attempt to stop anyone from entering the campus. The WBBC was just too afraid to attempt entering. No one made any threats, they just stood there. That is not a crime, nor is it violating any amendments.
