It's their job to report the news, we would be pissed, if they didn't.... On another note, this is so shocking and ****** up.

While I agree that the media are parasites, people at home would be complaining if they didn't know anything about it...

We had a similar situation a while back in Germany. A teenager killed around 20 off his fellow students. The kid was declared mentally deranged by his psychologist. His father was a gun enthusiast. The killer had been a member of a gun club for six years. News and so called ''experts'' linked his actions to him playing call of duty.

you dont do this on impulse unless u have voices in ur head, this is good bit of planning with a hint of guns and ****** up parents leaving him in the forest to die

I don't think it's the media that deserves the hate, rather society for allowing itself to indulge in it. The media is just giving us exactly what we want to hear...something that an keep us talking. They tap into our worst parts, and as much as we say we hate...we just keep absorbing it.

TL;DR: The media isn't in the wrong, you are.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought that was ****** up. They should've reported the story and moved on, I mean **** , it looked like they were shooting the most ****** up porn of all time.

Every time I hear some piece of **** say stop politicizing tragedies like this by bringing up the issue of gun control, it makes me ******* furious. It's not politicizing it, it's trying to prevent it from happening again. And again, and again, which they seem not to mind even though every time they say how bad that makes them feel, well then ******* do something already.

except that people will disagree on how to stop another tragedy such as this. I am one of those people that believe if teachers and staff were allowed to cc in schools it could have been stopped before people were killed, or at least lessen casualties. There are people who disagree with that line of thought and think guns should be no more. Either way friend, I don't know what's going to happen

I respect your line of reasoning, and I am only mad at those who don't want to talk about it at all because we are a country of progress, whether positive or negative something must be done. I feel that if we start escalating and allowing more people to carry weapons in response then the violence will only react to it by getting more aggressive in response to that. Fire with fire tends to always end in much worse circumstances because it forces everyone to escalate in response to everyone else. But of course there can't be a blanket ban on firearms because then people's rights are infringed upon. There has to be balance between who can have a firearm, how dangerous it can legally be allowed to be to be self-defensive yet not to the level that it's offensive, and so much more.

There are times to talk about it and there are other times to talk about it, the day after is ******* stupid, especially when the parents are grieving and will see people using their kids death as nothing more than ammo. Not mention the only reason they are bringing it up, is not because they cared about the dead children, OH NO, but because of their need to argue about **** .

Now there is a time to talk about this, but not RIGHT after it happened.

I honestly think schools should have security guards with guns who are always on site.
**** that my fourteen year old self likes to **** around in school, regardless of how I would feel about their presence or how any of my other peer's would feel, they should have guns.

Psycho running towards the school with a gun? Shot in the face, cops called, end of story.

Those goddamn disasters and tragedies always mess up the tv programming.

What pissed me off was I wanted to watch television and let my mind unwind for a bit, but the news stations just had to report on this live, repeating the same **** we already knew.
It's like, I know this is shocking but understand that you should inform us when something new happens rather than rubbing the same depressing **** in our faces and getting millions of parents paranoid and a billion idiots putting the blame on something irrevalent.

the moment you find yourself free from caring what news or celebrities think, is when you realize they are free from caring about you, people arent people, they are tools, a lil news or culture change and they do whatever you want them to,

tl;dr stop wasting time complaining about them, just stop listening and they starve
