I walked into English the other day, and saw 13 macbook pros.
It felt ridiculously good to pull out my dell, and strangely comforting.

I'm at the moment in the computer science exercise.

5 out of 21 people use a laptop. 3 out of that 5 are a Mac.

In my lectures it's also about half half and most professors use a Mac.

And who isn't uses Linux and not Windows.

Assuming using a dell for computer science will give you a good grade
assuming you can't use a mac for the same purpose
assuming only idiots use macs
assuming those other lectures aren't as profitable as computer science
op is an indeed faggot
and I'm mad

Those aren't dells. They're Lenovo Thinkpads. I have one myself, and I recognise two things about them, that persist. The shape and coloring, and the little thinkpad logo in one of the corners on the back of the screen.

Has it been mentioned that the top pic is from Legally Blonde?
Kind of irrelevant to the post, just a funfact.

All the lectures I've been to so far people have only been taking notes/recording lecture. No one takes in their laptops unless it has something to do with editing (unless we use the full editing suite with the macs)

Someone in my CS class said nobody gets **** done on a Mac. I was taking notes with Google Docs on my Mac, he was browsing the Facebooks.

You should fell proud your the only one with sense, after all typing is faster than writing, meaning you can take more detailed notes, or play minesweeper that works too.

*What every first year lecture looks like

Trust me, after a semester, most people realize that having a laptop during lecture is a huge distraction. (Notice I said most... some people are really good at taking notes without being distracted)

You don't know what you're talking about. I take computer courses and they look nothing like that. We work in computer labs, both Mac and PC are used and each student usually has at least a Computer, Laptop, iOS or Android device PLUS, iPod and e-reader and at least two flash drives. So it's like 3-4 computers/computational products per student.

Their business class laptops (Latitude series) have always worked well for me. The stuff they aim at home/student use isn't that great.

Lenovo Thinkpads are great computers btw.
