SURPRISE ************!!!!

This right is a wasp; not just any old pussy wasp.
Its a Habrobracon a parasitic wasp that eats, and lays its eggs in insects
which include caterpillars grasshoppers and yes COCKROACHES
it can also take up to 150,000 rads to kill one of these suckers that's 7x more radiation then for a cockroach
so when the cockroach shoots victory as the last human succumbs to radiation sickness this ************ here will swoop in and become the apex predator of the world
and that's not even the worst part ITS A ******* WASP

They can chew through tank armor in a minute, survive several 50-calibre rounds to the face, then regenerate it all within a few minutes. Also they can turn into buildings and turrets; so I'd say 'developed' is a bit of an understatement.

well at least they aren as mutated as the ants.

i mean seriously, once puny and tiny helpless instect now becomes more dangerous than the mutation of one of the most durable animals know to man?

Actually they survive because their species reproduces with great ease, so they can prosper even after a decimating event such as a nuclear exposition.

Cockroach would survive the rads but would be sterile so they would die out in the end anyway.

Cockroaches can't survive the blast they can only survive the radiation fallout afterwards.

Trust me, a slipper would do nothing to a cockroach.
I slammed a hard back heavy book on one and it didn't die.. then I did it again, nope.. again, and then put all my weight on it.. almost there.. again and smeared the **** out of it and it finally died... then it's husband came out

Saying they would survive the explosion? ehhh no. Maybe some of the aftermath. NOT the explosion, it blows everything in a big radius in to pieces.

Actually, even roaches wouldn't survive the harsher doses of radiation.

Fungi and flour beetles. They would rule the Earth.
