Meh, Nile plays quick, but there's not too much variation, for variation you've gotta go to things like Children of Bodom or Amon Amarth.

You serious? CoB? Amon?
Try Periphery, Faceless, Red Seas Fire, hell even Dream Theater to name the obvious one.

if we're talking about guitar difficulty i would suggest listening to racer X or john 5 or any of those guys, if we're talking about good music it's just your own taste bro

Was replying to musicality and variation here. I love Amon, but calling them varied is like saying Jamie Oliver is a horrid like-cook.

Also, Vai. Or Guthrie Govan. So many shredders to mention it's stupid.

Actually, their variation depends on which album you're thinking of, in Surtur Rising the riffs are the same a lot in each song, but some of the songs in Twilight of the Thunder God or older albums are pretty varied when it comes to guitar riffs. Also, Yngwie Malmsteen, don't like the guys music so much but his guitar skills is unquestionable.

Although swinging between extremes he does have a point, rock is usually pretty simple stuff, while jazz is usually overly complicated, yet I see your rage as well.
