I might just use this ******** about the world ending as an excuse to go on a mad drug frenzy, like a 5 day bender.. Not so much that i'll die, but enough to make it the craziest 5 nights of my life, then it's a win-win whether the world ends or not!

Reminds me of that old halo 2 trailer. (paraphrased slightly)

defeated covenant armada: Complete

destroyed ancient galaxy raping artifact: Complete

Saved Humanity: In progress

21, I didn't always have internet, my family has always been lower class, until I moved out and got into the parts business.

Yeah, you were probably too young to remember that one. People made a big fuss saying that computers would be confused when their internal calendars rolled over from 1999 to 2000 and cause massive failures all over. Of course, nothing happened.

I gotta say, it was not the human race's smartest move.

Even if this is supposed to happen, apparently the Myans didn't count the leap year so... The world should've ended in May. Just something I read.

Your move.

SPOILER ALERT!!! The Mayans did not use daylight savings time like we do, so if their prediction came true it would have already happened and we would all be dead. I know, it's kind of a buzzkill, but just be happy that you're still alive.

Just some info. The Mayan calendar did not account for leap years so we should have died long ago.

The Mayan calendar didn't have to account for leap years as they actually counted the extra 6 hours.

I don't believe the world will end, just correcting
User avatar #14 to #12 - golemnardah (11/26/2012) [-]
I made the mistake of saying that on this website. I was told "they counted sun rises, so it was adjusted accordingly with leap year."
User avatar #163 - pizzaragazza (11/26/2012) [-]
the mayan calendar did not account for leap years, so the world would have already ended.

Hmm, I don't think Mayans accounted for the leap years... By their calendar world should have ended more than a few months ago.
