Corvo Attano, best assassin so far. Or at least until Hitman Reborn is released.

You mean absolution?
User avatar #365 to #138 - daelril (11/17/2012) [-]
Yeah Absolution, sorry, i was thinking of Tutor Hitman Reborn, which is a manga.

User avatar #166 to #88 - mondominiman (11/17/2012) [-]

To all those who said you didn't feel like as much of an assassin as corvo, try playing through the game killing everyone other than civillians along the way, it will change ur mind. Or, also fun, play through without trying to be stealthy, and just go full frontal attack with all of your powers. I did, and I felt like a god.

pic very related: WIND BLAST FTW!

Oddly enough, I felt less like a killer in Dishonored. In that, I just choked out people and killed every now and then.

Playing AC3, I felt a little bad having to murder tons of guards just doing their jobs to kill one bad guy.
User avatar #78 to #68 - ivoryhammer (11/17/2012) [-]
I felt bad about that too, but in AC they're just computer simulations, just because Altair/Ezio/Connor killed them in the simulation, it doesn't mean it really happened.
User avatar #85 to #78 - stealthnull ONLINE (11/17/2012) [-]
uh...What you are seeing in said simulation..are the actual memories of whom ever Desmond is looking at in the animus. so...at one point they were real..and got butchered.
#123 to #85 - swaki (11/17/2012) [-]
Not necessarily. Desmond is actually living the memories and playing through them himself just as you are with your remote/keyboard. Only difference is he's using his mind. That's why there's synchronization and stuff.
User avatar #98 to #85 - kyrozor ONLINE (11/17/2012) [-]
It's more or less what happened, you are put into the situation in which the environment happened, when you get full sync, which is more or less being sneaky almost all of the time that's almost how it happened, if not, you're really just seeing the start and end of missions as accurately as they happened.
User avatar #95 to #85 - EjaculationMan (11/17/2012) [-]
you really think what the real hashashin were doing is killing tons of guards and hide them in haystacks?
they were "assassins" who were experienced acrobat that specialized in getting to their target without being seen, some of their missions were even leaving notes to targets in their sleep without leaving a trace to strike terror in their hearts leading to change in their politics, they might had to kill 2-3 guards on their missions but that's it.
User avatar #373 to #95 - stealthnull ONLINE (11/18/2012) [-]
No i don't honestly think they really did....but it's certainly a lot more fun to think they did.
User avatar #71 to #68 - tankerdude ONLINE (11/17/2012) [-]
if i makes you feel any better in most of the games the guards are corrupt
User avatar #64 - urzyle (11/17/2012) [-]
Great game but it's too short.
Well, depending on how you play. Going on a no-kill session really makes you plan out how you're gonna finish the whole thing, and going for a no-kill, never-detected streak is just as hard
User avatar #63 - firstgen (11/17/2012) [-]

Hmm. I wonder who'd win a fight, Agent 47 (Hitman) Or the Guy from Death To Spies: MoT (Death to Spies: MoT)

..With all this assassin talk, and all.
User avatar #59 to #58 - alfjnn (11/17/2012) [-]
Also Ezio and Altir Had the Apple of Eden.
Not much Corvo can do when he's punching himself in the throat.
User avatar #73 to #59 - FourchansChosenone (11/17/2012) [-]
Don't you have to be in range for the apple to work?
User avatar #91 to #73 - Heaney (11/17/2012) [-]
Not really, an entire town was thrown into madness from the safety of the castle in the first AC game.
User avatar #76 to #73 - alfjnn (11/17/2012) [-]
Not according to lore.

#43 - paralars (11/16/2012) [-]
despite Corvo being considerably more awesome than Altair, i feel much less of a killer when playing as him.
Sucks to have honor and morale and stuff..
User avatar #220 to #43 - wiljones (11/17/2012) [-]
i know right. the game disapproves of killing and makes it extremely satisfying at the same time
