I just finished watching Doctor Who.
I mean, obviously there's more, but, I watched the whole series up to this point.
Before that it was Scrubs.
And South Park.
And Futurama.
And a bunch of other shows.
I go through this all the time.
And it never stops hurting. :c

R.I.P... it hurts that you bring back that memory...those last words he said are still crawling around "Don't let me die Mr. White...please!"... I'm just going to go cry silently in the corner

Code Geass. I'm not even an anime guy, but that show is ******* brilliant. The plot of that show is breathtaking and could have been a live action HBO series just as much as an anime and I still would have loved it.

I recommend Death Note to you since you loved Code Geass because they are ,in a way, similar. And by similar I mean ******* brilliant.

I felt the same when I finish a excellent show or anime. I was kind if let down by the end of YGO GX the english dubbed stopped at the end of season 3 so I had to watch the subbed which was way better. I finished 5D's which is a much more mature and crafted story which made me cry at the end. Its like your childhood friend left you and you don't know where or when you will meet them again.

That happened when I finished Sonic SatAM.

I'm kind of glad they didn't reboot it; I'm like the Doctor, I hate endings.

It's been said and it will be said many more times. This is exactly how I feel when I finish an anime...

Just finished mirai nikki. My whole brain was crying to everyone's past. So many sad deaths that made me cry. And the worst part easily is when you see the third world how everyone turns out happy and your just there crying your eyes out. Only clannad was able to make me feel this hard.

I kind of wish Clannad ended with Tomoya learning how to get over Nagisa and maybe even learning how to fall in love again. More inspirational than magic lights, in my opinion. Absolutely amazing anyways, though.

I know this is kinda stupid but do you remember the whole tomoya after thing? WHAT happened to it?! I really wanted to see all his alternate endings with the girls. I felt a bit sad that he never got paired up much with the girl that sucked at violin but oh well. Still waiting for the whole explanation of the girl with the mechanical teddy bear thing never got it. Still cry over it everyday

The girl with the robot is Ushio and and robot is Tomoya, and they live in what's called an illusionary world (you can hear Kotomi talking about parallel universes). The reason Ushio and Tomoya are in that world is kind of hard to explain, that scene where Akio takes Nagisa to the open forest and the town saves her life is important. Because the town saved her, it's now binded to her and feeding off her life to keep existing (hard to explain), and that's why she gets sick every year. Because Nagisa died and gave birth to Ushio, that bind with the town is moved to Ushio, thus making her sick and dying, too. But, meanwhile in the Illusionary world, because of unknown reasons, Ushio is incarnated as a human into it. Later, Tomoya dies (of grief, maybe suicide?) and is born into the Illusionary world as a light orb. There, Ushio builds him a robot body and sends him back in time to the point where he meets Nagisa, and that's where he pairs with her and they help their friends, and throughout the series they get light orbs, which in the series you hear will grant you a wish if you collect one. In Afterstory when Tomoya said bye to his dad, he finally obtains one and when Ushio dies he uses that wish to I guess make everything normal, you can see this happening in the final episode of Afterstory

I know this is a crappy explanation but let me know if you have any questions, I might be able to explain it better

Thanks, Clannad was what got me back into anime and I've re-watched it several times to understand the story (also drowned myself in tears until I couldn't think straight for days), it's truly a masterpiece and will always be my favorite show of all time.
