Let me ask you something, Doc. Does thinking you're the only sane man left in the world make you crazy?

It's true

OP's argument is flawed because by definition 'normal' depends on groups of people so of course the difference between being crazy and normal is how many people believe you and if this is 'a dig at religion' then it's a pretty weak one because it could easily be about anything like Charles Darwin for example

I'm sorry that I don't trust the majority of FJ users to understand the comic on its own merits. :-(

no it's a dig at all thought.
Seriously, what doesn't seem crazy to someone, somewhere?
Reality is subjective. Normal is not real, it's created by the ideology between reality and experience.

Here's the deal. I don't know how the universe came into existence, nor have I ever claimed to. I don't know exactly what happens when I die, nor do I claim to. Understanding that the origins of the universe and the destiny of mankind are unknowable, I am forced to take a leap of faith if I want to understand the universe. Is it possible that my understanding is wrong? Yes. But, I can't bring myself to live a life with no basis at all. Getting to the point, I have decided to follow Jesus as my personal savior in spite of my doubts. I am the least certain person you will ever meet. Following Jesus isn't something that you do once the evidence has led you to believe that it is the logical thing to do; it is a leap of faith. I don't regret taking that leap for one second.

inb4 "lol cumwhore for jesus"
Just because I'm a Christian doesn't mean I can't have a sense of humor.

As a pagan in a baptist town I get your point here. Although few think I am not normal or anything like that.. mostly the campus cult at my college thinks I am the crazy one..

And those guys are odd.

Like... These people bought a house with no furniture to share one jug of water odd.

Don't drink the cool-aid kids.

ISn't normal just what's accepted at the time? You'd be the lunatic in that situation even if you're correct.

If one person has an imaginary friend, he's crazy. But if a bunch of people have the same imaginary friend, it's a religion!
