Vultures wait for their prey to be dead! That's an eagle.

Vultures aren't hunter, but scavengers. Also, you clearly see hair on the head. could be a hawk

if you look at the wings in the first and second pictures, they have not moved from that position, therefore making lift off impossible.

Ive seen this posted someplace before, and it's been CLAIMED that this was a hoax. I guess back when cameras were ********, it was a lot easier to hoax ****. Look at the Loch Ness Monster.

I tend to agree that this story is likely a hoax. I mean, look at those ********** wings. That's one ghetto-looking bird.

Your right in believing that this is a Hoax. The bird, does look suspicious, but as for a bird being able to lift away a human baby? It could be possible.. There are reports of Golden Eagles carrying away small children such as infants and Toddlers. There are similar accounts from cultures in Africa and South America. But Like you said. this is very much likely a hoax, there is no way a camera from that era would to snap the pictures that quick and still maintain good focus. That and the bird is indeed a Hawk or maybe a Golden Eagle BUT the bird looks small it could probably carry of a rabbit no problem.. But a child weighing 20lbs? I dont believe it either. Good eye sir , Thumb for you

you are a retard if even for a second you believed that a bird this size is capable of lifting a baby that size.

Well, I've seen golden eagles. One flew about twenty meters over my head and I could still hear the wind through its wings. It was incredible. When I was referring to the *ghetto-looking* wings above, I was referring to how it has gaps in the middle of them, as if it were some sorta stuff bird and feathers had fallen out.

Also the angles look strange.

A Bald Eagle picked up a full grown Doe. Those usually weigh about 150 pounds.
