I love how everyone knows what to do in an apocalypse, but probably everyone would really just die or panic.

Hey guise! i got a good idea for next series of deadliest warrior... why don't we, now listen closely this is the good part, why don't we compare two warriors on how long they would survive in a zombie apocalypse?

Simple enough; if we can find a multi-story building, clear the top floors and destroy any way up (other than perhaps a removable ladder) then we can stay there for a few years. If it's a block of flats we can scavenge all the food we need, and live in relative comfort. We should designate a meeting place, however; any town or city in mind?

That's a good start. We can also do the one thing I've always wanted to do. Find a deserted supermarket, get a trolley each, and grabe anything we want. After that, we'll have to travel to a town or city with a preferably tall block of flats; of we destroy or barricade the stairs and sabotage the lift, we can hold out for at least a few weeks before needing to venture out for supplies. I'm not too familiar with the Chichester area; anywhere with a block of flats within , say, ten miles?

They's a school my old one its got 3floors and sheltered roof , errr a pub a cathedral, cinema and lots restaurants there but the supe rmarkets are like 1 1/2 mile from the town. we would have to get back packs and tight clothing to easy maneuvering round places they's car parks 4story carpark swimming center we got good things for survival

OK, so we have weapons, supplies, and shelter. That's about all we can plan for at this stage; we'll have to make the rest up as we go along, I suppose. Thank you in advance for your hospitality, and I hope we don't start shooting each other rather than the zombies. See you at the apocalypse.

Also cemeteries are safe. Mainly because you have wide vision, and no zombie could come out of the ground due to the mass of the dirt and the closed coffin itself.

Surely the best thing to do would be to dig a trench around your house and fill it with Hydrofluric acid...
They would just walk in, then dissolve (bones included) and the acid would not be used up...

And how are you gonna dig a trench into the concrete road outside your house without heavy equipment? And how are you gonna get your hand on 500.000 litres of hydroflouric acid?

With heavy machinery. That's how.
Actually I've already said that it's only 280 litres
And it can be bought from chemical supplies
10 metric tons of Hydrofluric acid only costs £300

If you only use 280 litres you're gonna have a 10 cm deep 30 cm wide trench. That's not gonna stop anything.

They can't get out, so there's no need for it to be deep, just let them slowly burn
Of course you could always substitute the acid for any other corrosive liquid

They can't get out of a 10 cm deep trench? Well in that case they can get over it.
I'd say you need at least 1m wide by 50 cm deep. That's half a ton of acid per metre around your house.

No, what I'm saying is a 7 foot trench with a very thin layer of corrosive liquid at the bottom

Of course I'm basing all of this the tactic I use in Terraria by digging a trench and filling it with magma....

Aaah okay, that's a clever idea. I still don't think 280 litres is enough tho. Depends on the size of your house. Also, do you plan on leaving your fortress for food and water or did you wanna grow it on your own?

that would depends how the stairs are designed, yeah if it's would you could burn/destroy/chop it up. but lets say your running from a horde. do you have time to C4 2 flights of cement steps.
