The phone call between Barry and his Earth-2 mom was touching.
Also, I hope we see something like Earth-2 Slade Wilson, even if it's just a very subtle cameo, but I doubt it'll happen.

That Multiverse tho:

Connor Hawke.
The 1990 Flash.
Supergirl.
Jonah Hex.
Grodd.
A Legion Of Superheroes Flight Ring.

Also, is Deathstorm really evil, or is that just what happens when Ronnie fuses with what is implied to be Martin's corpse ?

The twist with Earth-2 Cisco as Reverb was cool, since in the comics, Vibe's brother was Reverb, and also a good guy .

"A Free And Just Society." That was cool.

And did you see Earth-2 Barry's contacts? Bruce, Hal, and Diana.

Look at all those easter eggs I missed.
Well Deathstorm in Blackest Night was just a revived Ronnie as a black lantern. In new 52, Deathstorm was a part of the Crime Syndicate but they never revealed his identity I believe. I would believe it was Martin's corpse if he was a bit more skele-fied, the show just made it seem like Ronnie was keeping him prisoner.

I got to watch Southbound tonight. It's a very solid addition to the anthology horror genre. Acting is generally okay. Not great. Some of the dialogue is cliche. For example, there are a few references to a phone's GPS being unable to locate the town that the movie takes place in. However, this ends up being a central part of the film, so it's somewhat redeemable. A nice inclusion of a worn-out idea in horror films .

I didn't predict the events of the ending, but I was able to predict the significance of the ending. The first segment and last segment are connected, with the ending of the last segment leading into the beginning of the first segment (a.k.a. the beginning of the movie). It was pretty cool, but I don't know how I feel about the fact that I was able to predict that in the first place.

Ranking of segments from best to worst:
- The hospital segment | The first segment and the last segment
- The rescue segment
- The band segment

The band segment seemed a little hard to believe, whereas I could get invested in the other segments. The whole cult thing is overused. The rescue segment was okay. It was well done, but I didn't find it very interesting. The hospital segment is tied for the best segment because it's pretty tense and genuinely creepy. The first and last segments are essentially the wrapper segments, and are pretty cool. The acting in the first segment is a little flat sometimes, but you can overlook it. The winged reapers had an awesome design.

The wrapper segment revolves around the two main characters for that segment getting revenge for the death of one of the guys' (Mitch's) daughter. It's never explained what happened to his daughter. Mitch and Jack kill the guy responsible, his wife, and eventually their daughter. I can understand why someone would want revenge on the man who killed his daughter, but we're never given the backstory to the death, so the importance seems a little dulled. However, the inclusion of this would've added to the length of the film with an appropriate way to explain it, and the film is at a good length already. It's as long as it needs to be (just under 90 minutes).

Overall, Southbound is worth the watch. It discards the found footage style of the V/H/S films a delivers a (mostly) interesting series of connected stories.

Pied Piper will return on The Flash.

"He’ll return in the 17th episode, fittingly titled 'Flash Back,' to wreak havoc once again on his former colleagues when The Flash impossibly revisits an earlier timeline."

Korean/American anime produced by Roosterteeth. It's about four girls and their training to become protecters of an outgunned humanity in a world that's literally designed to kill them.
You can find all the episodes on their website. It starts off slow and dodgy but gets WAY better in season 2.
