fear the walking dead so, anyone else feel like they're just redoing the same shit? both shows have a season 2 with a place, where zombies are being kept, like they're actual people and then the place ends up burning down.

Yeah I think it's time to stop watching this shit. Shame, I liked a few of the characters, and thought it would be cool to see the whole 'downfall'. But then they skip forward, and now we've got a low budget latino copy TWD.

Why is the show still running?
The only thing the show had to offer new was a perspective during the zombie outbreak. Season 2 is just a shittier TWD (hard to do, to be honest)

GoT Spoilers (what else?)

Man people are really fucking knee-jerk kicking out at Bran, as though he (or anyone, book reader or not) knew that getting touched by a WW would mean they can pretty much just show up at your fuckin door step like its the easiest thing in the world (with an army to boot) and just walk on up to you. If they could always do that and just needed to know where to go then there was no way that the Bloodraven didn't see this shit coming, it just perhaps came earlier than he wanted it to. SUPER interesting episode, opens up a hell of a lot of possibilities for the next few episodes. RIP Hodor, we'll never forget you.

Not to mention that with Bran's vision leading to Hodor seeing his own demise, he set in stone what was going to happen to him. I don't know what might happen if Hodor didn't end up where he did but it'd be some earth shattering fuckery.

Literally everything happens without Bran's fall.

Did everyone forget that Petyr is behind literally everything?

Petyr still killed Jon Aryn, and he still had Lysa send Cat the letter accusing the Lannisters of the crime. He surely would've still sent the Catspaw Assassin to kill a Stark (maybe not Bran tho). Then Ned would still be Hand of the King, and Ned would still learn the truth about Joffrey and would STILL be betrayed by Petyr.

If Bran doesn't exist pretty much everything still happens. Why don't more people understand that?

No, Petyr just used the paranoia caused by that incident to make Cat even more suspicious of the Lannisters. Jon Aryn was already dead, the letter had already been sent, and Ned was already leaving for King's Landing when Bran fell.

So I came upon this crackpot theory reading the ASOIAF forums. What if Bran is Bran the Builder, what if he's the one who instructed on the building of the wall.

And the theory goes even further, what if he was the Night's King?

Seems like Bran can influence the past (technically he can't, cause it seems like the universe is determined), so it's plausible that he is Bran the Builder. The possibilities are endless. Maybe it was Bran who sent Coldhands after himself, maybe it was Bran whispering to the Mad King, that drove the Mad King mad (one of the reasons he went mad was because he heard voices)? Oh man the possibilities!

It's implied that wargs can't turn into wights. In the prologue of "A Dance with Dragons", a warg dies in the presence of wights, yet his body doesn't turn into a wight, as he transfers his mind to a different entity.

I link a more descriptive leak. Since you've already been spoiled, I'll leave a more descriptive spoiler.

The North

“Sansa ends up meeting Baelish at the town outside Winterfell. Brienne goes with her. Baelish apologizes for allowing her to marry Ramsay. Sansa accuses Baelish of knowing about Ramsay and basically says she doesn’t want anything to do with him any more.”

“Jon does become King of the North. This is after a teenage girl who is head of some house (with like 60 soldiers) speaks up about how she trusts the Starks and was one of the only ones to follow them into battle. Then the other houses speak up and apologize about not following them and they don’t care that he is a bastard.”

“The recruiting scene is pretty funny as Jon, Sansa and Davos make these great speeches on why she should join them only to find out she has less than 100 men. Don’t think Sansa legitimizes Jon but she is agreement that he should be King.”

“Ramsay and Jon meet across the battlefield. Ramsay releases Rickon and tells him to run toward his brother. As Rickon runs, Ramsay starts shooting arrows up in the air one at a time that keep missing him. Jon starts galloping toward Rickon but just as he reaches him, one of Ramsay’s arrow hits him and he dies in Jon’s arms. Sansa is the smart one. She tells Jon before the battle that Rickon is already dead.”

“Jon chooses to imprison Ramsay rather than kill him.” (Rumour though is that Ramsey is eaten by his dogs in the next episode)

Bran North of the wall

” You will soon learn how Hodor came to be. The White Walkers attack Bran and company and Hodor will be forced to ‘hold the door’ as they make their escape.”

“Bran has another vision of the tower of joy and we see Lyanna Stark… Lyanna whispers something to Ned before she dies. We then see a baby, and the very next scene we see Jon.”

“Bran has a vision of a bunch of the CotF gathering and doing something. He wakes and then confronts Leaf about creating the White Walkers. She says they did it to protect something. Bran then has a vision of the White Walkers but the Night’s King actually senses him and that’s how the White Walkers learn of Bran’s location and attack. That’s all you see from them this season.”

“… Also we can assume the 3ER dies when the White Walkers attack.”

“Uncle Benjen will come to rescue Bran and Meera. He will accompany them to The Wall before departing. Bran will have one more ‘flashback’ in the finale.”

Iron Islands

“ Euron gets chosen to be the new king because of his plan to marry Dany and enter into an alliance with her to take King’s Landing. Yara and Theon steal their ships instead and plan to enter into an alliance with Dany instead.”

Arya

“Arya will be asked to kill some actress. She refuses and The Waif is given permission to kill Arya.”

so something about hodor im not sure how the timelines work in GOT yet if it changes because of bran or not. But whatever it is Hodor saw his own death as a child. And he lived and served bran the whole time knowing his end. I was wondering why hodor was so weirded out in the cave and wouldn't move but then you realize he was terrified cause he knew he was about to die in a few minutes.

Hodor is horrified by violence. He's always needed Bran to Warg him to fight. Having said that they just proved that Bran can affect things in his greensight. Tower of Joy wasn't a fluke. But that look in his eye when he was holding the door made me think he knew what was happening immediately. Like maybe hearing Meera say those words that changed him woke some forgotten memories.

worst part of his death (besides the look on his face obviously) was how in the scenes before his death he proved how intelligent and human he was. When Meera was talking to him about returning home, he showed genuine happiness, and sighed with relief at the thought of poached eggs.

Also, considering how differently he warged with Hodor this time (warging while in greensight) I think you're right about Hodor remembering his death. He experienced the Warg as a young man and seemed to remember it before the end. Saddest death six seasons in

GOT Spoilers Honestly choosing Euron was the smartest shit the Iron Born have done in six seasons. Euron may be mad but at least he has a fucking plan. A plan that isn't just "make a big fleet I guess"

Fucking Bran. But we all knew he was going to test his powers alone at some point. Confirmed that he can affect the world during his greensights.

Holy Shit that Hodor scene was god teir. Didn't see that coming at all. Just wish that wasn't the way it all went down, you know? RIP Holdthedoor

Killed off another Direwolf? Such a stupid way to kill off Summer. Biggest slight in the episode

Tarthbane is absolutely a thing.

Danearys' decision with Jorah tho. Finally she cuts a guy some slack.

Jon Snow is Eddard Stark 2.0. Even has the cloak and the Valyrian steel sword.

Return of the blackfish HYPE

yeah, his plan to conquer a world with ships is so much better, oh wait no it isn't, someone tell the guy that dragons are super effective against ships and that you can't conquer in-land with ships, so at best the guy will conquer all the coastal cities and that's it.
