why does everyone who likes things to be tidy seem to have ocd?
#225 - gmarrox (07/13/2012) [-]
I have OCD. Literally none of these pictures pleased or displeased me. Because anal tidiness in not OCD. OCD is a nervous habit that you have that you must perform or you'll have a nervous breakdown. Very few people with OCD have a habit involving making things tidy or symmetrical. Most of the habits are random. Mine was I could not leave a bathroom without flushing the toilet six times. Thanks to therapy and counseling, that is no longer the case. I seriously doubt that the vast majority of the people commenting "this pleases my OCD" would actually be unable to function if these pictures weren't tidied.

tl;dr having an urge to make something neat is not ******* OCD.

I was hoping that your last line said "tl;dr I have an urge to flush the toilet 6 times." I just thought it'd be funny.

Sometimes I do. But I'm getting better and the urges are less frequent.

Not sure if calling me autistic or calling anal tidiness a symptom of autism.

It's a trend bro, just like how bitches posting on FB at 3 AM claim they have insomnia when they're just craving attention. I knew a guy with OCD. He didn't say "this pleases me" when he saw things were tidy.. Hell he was never pleased. That's the whole point of OCD.
User avatar #239 to #237 - theoriginalzombie (07/13/2012) [-]
I forgot to add that he told me his biggest problem was an intense craving to pull his hair out. He worked around it by shaving his head but still, I can't imagine that helped much

**** , I still have insomnia and that pisses me off too. When I tell people the longest amount of days I've been awake with no sleep they don't believe me. Why is it trendy to pretend you have a disorder???

Because bitches(male and female) are stupid and will always be stupid. I don't know how these retarded ass trends show up. They just do. Anyway, thumb for you for pointing that out.
