This is a shopped gif....the only thing that gave it away was the shadow when you see it turning, his face makes a shadow that and indentation would not. pretty ******* legit though.

The shadow is on the other side, the material is transparent enough for it to be visible on both sides. Not a shop

is this the first time you see a hollowed image?

there is no magic to that.

Btw, when you have the hollowed image looking at you, it has a funny effect, when you move, the head "turns" towards you all the time

I saw something on telly about this and I think that the reason you see a normal face is because you have been living with noses always sticking out so when you see this your brain perceives the nose as sticking out so you see a normal face. Then it spins round again and its all weird.

Top-down thinking. Assuming you're not schizophrenic, you perceive this new data based on old data you've already experienced. The .gif starts with you looking at the inside of the mold, but you've never seen an inward facing face, so you see it as a normal face.
