Honestly nobody should get benefits from the government except for old people and people that are unable to work due to illness.
That should weed out the ********** in the population and make the world a better place.

Maby, but there are also many people woth eating disorders and **** . Some fat people can't really do much about it unless they get help from somewhere, and most people would never go to the doctor and say "Im too fat, I need help!". That would be very awkward for that person and they might not even see it themself. The goverment need to help some people atleast, but not give them a lot of money so they can live a great life. Enough money to live on and nothing more should be allowed for everyone who needs it, but to get a "better" life, with a house, vacations and stuff like that they would have to get a job and do something, even if that means going to someone and saying they are too fat

tl;dr people should get enough money to live, but nothing more.

communist!! but seriously show me pictures of fat people in the holocaust. fatness is a self-inflicted disposition, don't wanna hear none of that "blah blah i'm just a fat person blah blah thyroids blah blah"

I agree with you to an extent. My family is on benefits because my mom is a single parent with 3 teenage boys. I have a job so they took a little off our benefits but we are working toward to getting off of them. Those people are pigs.

I believe that's a boulder, well I'm not sure, I always thought a stone was those small rocks along the shore one would throw to make it bounce on the water.

America...now measures weight in stone and switched it's currency to pounds.
User avatar #93 to #91 - salivarocker (07/10/2012) [-]
... cause you know we totally use that currency... i don't even know how to make that symbol
User avatar #100 to #93 - MyNameIsARickRoll (07/10/2012) [-]
It's shift+3. Or least, it is on my computer.
User avatar #101 to #100 - salivarocker (07/10/2012) [-]
for shift+3 on my comp i get # i guess it could be taken as pounds
User avatar #103 to #101 - MyNameIsARickRoll (07/10/2012) [-]
That's...weird.
£ = shift + 3
$ = shift + 4
# has it's own key on my laptop.
User avatar #104 to #103 - salivarocker (07/10/2012) [-]
was it made in the UK? it could also be how it's shipped where you're from
User avatar #105 to #104 - MyNameIsARickRoll (07/10/2012) [-]
Well, I live in the UK, so that's probably just how they do it here.
User avatar #106 to #105 - salivarocker (07/10/2012) [-]
more than likely
User avatar #108 to #106 - MyNameIsARickRoll (07/10/2012) [-]
strange.
I never thought that it would be different for the US. I just assumed it was the same.
User avatar #109 to #108 - salivarocker (07/10/2012) [-]
well if you think about it, it kinda makes sense, we don't necessarily need it
User avatar #110 to #109 - MyNameIsARickRoll (07/10/2012) [-]
Well, by that logic, then my keyboard shouldn't have a dollar on it. I guess it's reflective of the perception that Americans don't seem to care about other countries.
User avatar #111 to #110 - salivarocker (07/10/2012) [-]
well how often do gaming companies have us dollar for a form of currency? most of the time especially if its for like ingame cash, but yeah i agree most of america doesn't care for other countries, i personally don't like it if i could i'd move to the UK
User avatar #112 to #111 - MyNameIsARickRoll (07/10/2012) [-]
The UK, I think, is better than the US, but it's still far from the best. Canada and the Scandinavian countries have it down for me. I love those guys.
User avatar #114 to #112 - salivarocker (07/10/2012) [-]
oh yeah our country sucks "oh free herp derp derp uh oh you drank before you're supposed to even though you can die for your country time to spend time in the jails of a free country"

User avatar #92 to #91 - MyNameIsARickRoll (07/10/2012) [-]
It's not from America.
The article says that they're a family from Blackburn
Blackburn is in the UK.
User avatar #96 to #92 - bakinboy (07/10/2012) [-]
theres also a blackburn, oklahoma
User avatar #97 to #96 - MyNameIsARickRoll (07/10/2012) [-]
Didn't know that.
It's in £'s though, not $'s, so it's definitely England.
User avatar #99 to #97 - bakinboy (07/10/2012) [-]
oh. well then i guess you get paid to be fat in the UK too.
User avatar #102 to #99 - MyNameIsARickRoll (07/10/2012) [-]
Sadly, yes. If they genuinely couldn't work due to having Multiple Sclerosis or being paraplegic or something, then I wouldn't care. It's terrible that you can literally be paid for just being fat.

Plus, they aren't even that incredibly fat, in comparison to some people. I have an aunt who weighs more than each of them, and she has a job and pays for her own life.
User avatar #87 - lamarsmithgot (07/10/2012) [-]

Why don't you lose the weight?

Not bitching, it just confuses me how people just remain fat in the 21st century when there are so many health problems.
#209 to #94 - awesomenessproduct (07/10/2012) [-]
In all honesty, i'm the typical lazy american. Not proud of it, but it seems anytime i attempt to lose the weight i give up, because i'm a no good lazy american :(

Ok, so 1 stone is approximately 8 pounds. I know people and I personally weigh more than some of them, and we look nothing like that.... Why?
