As a non-bronie, I feel confident in saying that nobody gives two ***** what he does or doesn't like. It's not going to make us like it. :)

The cool part about Deadmau5 is that he doesn't really act like a generic artist, he's like that rude/likable friend that just happens to make really good music

No Joel is not a brony, he has said many times in his livestreams that he actually hates them. But even if he was i would not be mad.
User avatar #65 to #63 - diablojoe (06/07/2012) [-]
Why's he wearing a brony t-shirt then? Is it supposed to be ironic?
#67 to #65 - thexiled (06/07/2012) [-]
No idea why he was wearing the shirt, just pointing out that he has said many times he finds them annoying. I believe his words were one time "They are like that friend you go to the movies with who keeps repeating funny lines that were just said over and over until they are no longer funny"

Tons of terrible artists perform at the grammies every year.
User avatar #235 to #231 - justadude (06/10/2012) [-]
so would you say that The Dave Matthews Band is terrible musician?
User avatar #236 to #235 - joefishsticks (06/10/2012) [-]
Poor example, considering that is a very average band.
I'm not saying everybody that performs at the grammies is bad, I'm just saying that performing at the grammies doesn't mean an artist is good.
User avatar #237 to #236 - justadude (06/10/2012) [-]
true. just because a band is successful doesnt mean they are good, but it does mean that enough people think that they are. And **** your **** for saying that Dave is average he is absolutely the best musician to come out of the 90's, Stefan Lessard is one of the best bassist ive ever heard or seen, Carter Beaufort should be in the drummers hall of fame, Boyd Tinsley is just quite frankly a beast, and both LeRoi Moore and Jeff Coffin were/are absolutely superb saxophone players. they are one of the most well rounded cohesive bands ever

I'm sad now....and a brony...I hate deadmau5, and skrillex, and music that requires anything more than a guitar

User avatar #100 to #96 - ahj (06/08/2012) [-]
There's not much music that requires just a guitar. Most, if not all music requires drums (even classical). Classic rock requires a bass. Plenty of classic and progressive rock includes keyboards and synthesizers, which happen to be deadmau5's main instrument.
User avatar #102 to #100 - whiteboylikestacos (06/08/2012) [-]
When's the last time you heard a good ol' country song
User avatar #104 to #102 - ahj (06/08/2012) [-]

Country songs quite often include drums and bass guitar.
User avatar #134 to #114 - onlyanonymous (06/08/2012) [-]
i think he is talking bluegrass, and even that needs fiddle and banjo
User avatar #163 to #134 - seetiltheend (06/08/2012) [-]
Either way, he proves an invalid point.
