Glad you liked him. George Formby and ukuleles go hand in hand. He was, and still is, pretty famous for his ukulele and banjolele comedy songs. The only other ukulele player I can think of is Kate Micucci, though there are still a few others who carry on his legacy for tongue in cheek ukulele songs.

What do you lot do with singles?
I kinda had a Muse week and I chased down a bunch of B-sides, but it feels weird to have 35 albums by Muse, most of them with only one track. I usually wait for a compilation, but their last one was 13 years ago so... yeah.

TL;DR: Singles in music library, wat do?

Just save a playlist.

Or you can put all the singles together and edit the tags making a custom fan compilatory "album" with a custom image, with the option of upload it to the internets and ask people to thumb up and subscribe for more.
As cringey as it sounds it's organized.

Usually I'll stick a single exclusive track on the album or ep of the same era/style of music as said single. Or some bands have a big compilations of b sides and unreleased stuff or what not such as Radiohead - Lost Treasures and Soundgarden - Echo of Miles which are practically non album/EP anthologies and I usually cram everything on there.

The beeps near the end kinda sound weird, but other than that i don't have much critique. I'm terrible at ambient sounding stuff so most of this is out of my league. I wish i could make cool orchestral sounds

Yeah, I don't really know why I put those beeps in there. I think I was gonna make a melody thing, but I just forgot to or something. Thanks for the feedback though! I'm still figuring out what to put in the middle of the two different parts, haha.

The beeps could actually sound pretty nice if they were a bit more in the background, they also almost sound off-beat for some reason.

And yeah i have that problem a lot too. I never know how to make my intros
#153572 to #153571 - dragonicangel
Reply 0
(07/06/2015) [-]
I actually think I'm gonna drown them in reverb, and pan them to add a psychedelic effect to the track. My main problem is that I can make the intros and the drops and what not, just not the bridge or any of the middle parts that act as transition and melody stuff.

HSB did play, too. Parkway Drive, HSB and In Flames where headlining, but the sound for HSB was horrible and In Flames weren´t allowed to playy because there was a heavy storm and the stage was in danger of crashing so the last band that was allowed to play was Suicide Silence - who, not gonna lie, where pretty good.

Carnifex are pretty gud, but normally I´m not really into Tech Death. Or any overly technical genre, at that.

Ah man the sound of HSB at the roundhouse in london was crazyy then again iwas slightly high so it just made it 10/10

I like in flames and ss are pretty good its sad they have such a shitty fan base

I use to be really into tech death now its boring no new sounds just over technical wankery

HSB played nearly every festival when I started to go to concerts so I saw them all the tme - so this one time with shitty sound didn´t hurt too much. Missing In Flames was harsher, they where my favorites for years, I still think "Reroute to Remain" is one of the best metal records possible.

Don´t knw too much about their fanbase to be honest. At With Full Force the people in the crowd where no different then for example what I saw when I saw Thy Art is Murder.

I live in a part of the Uk in which its hard to get to gigs cause their all in london

I like In flames the first album i heard from them is "A sound of a playground fading" i think thats the title and their new album was cool too i need to back and check out their older stuff ive heard songs off most albums

Their fan base was i guess full of scene kids

That´s always like it is:I I have to drive to Munich or Nuemberg, too, for most gigs, or even further for festivals.

I personally didn´t like the last one - it was the fist one that I didn´t like, so I was really dissapointed...SoaPf was still neat, tho.

Well, there´s more modern, core-y stuff like Reroute to Remain, Come Clarity and Sense of Purpose and there´s prett much In-The-Face-MeloDeath like Lunar Strain or Whoracle...their older stuff. Both is pretty amaing, imo.

Really, if I were to think to invite you to this wondrous circlejerk, I'd think you'd run it to the ground with "plebs, this 50's band did what they did before them and better!!!!!!!" and try to make us feel inferior.

We know you kaisakuenkou, just well enough to know you'd do that.

Alemayehu Eshete - Telantena Zare (Ethiopiques Volume 9) Ever heard this? Got recommended it today, and I gotta say I haven't checked it out yet, but if it's like this one song then I'm excited.

I've seen that album in a /mu/ sharethread before, I'm pretty sure. It's also part of a torrent I have partially downloaded. I haven't listened to it before, though. Sounds like good stuff. I'll download that part so I can listen to it on the road. I'm going down to Florida in the morning so I'll have like a day and a half of just driving and listening to music.

Definitely check out that Santo & Johnny album. It's so good.
