You could try drawing a little sun and moon for light and dark. It's just a little visual reminder of where you want your light to go and shadows to be.

I think her left hand is broken.
As for lighting, it's not easy(for me) but it helps to pick where your light source is and always remember it's location, then you can keep your highlights and shadows consistent.

Tutorials on hands? Done in a sketchy style? Does it need to also focus on how to do the sketchy style? This link is focused on hands more than the sketchy stuff.

alexhays.com/loomis/

Scroll down and click on the book titled "Drawing the Head & Hands." Then go to page 133. It's all about hands from that page till the end.

I suppose you should stay away from grainy textures (like around the front light and the wheel) when drawing a smooth and shiny car, it makes it look a little beat up.
Beyond that it looks great. Reflections are nice, and that's probably the most important factor here.

This is a problem that happens to me often in Paint whenever I'm playing a game and drawing on the side. A quick and easy way to fix this is to:

>Start
>Control Panel
> (If Necessary) Large/ Small icon view
> Mouse
> Pointer Options

Now, uncheck or check "Enhance Pointer Precision."
Then click Apply. Afterwords you should be able to recheck/ uncheck (depending on which you did before) "Enhance Pointer Precision" on the menu. Click apply, then OK. If all went well, then your cursor should work.

Hopefully this helps.

hey let me ask you something. do you use photoshop tree presets and if not do you consider them useful tools or just something people who cant paint them use. i will sometimes use preset tree brushes for the under brush or i will blur them at a small size to make a forest type area but i dont know if it is commonly accepted as not a good thing to do
#79941 to #79939 - skabbalabba

(12/26/2015) [-]
I did, and I'd personally consider them useful. I just used them because painting trees is really boring most of the time. They are nothing but background decoration pretty much, so i can't see how it would be a big deal if you cheated at it, so long as it doesn't negatively affect the painting.
i didn't use just presets here, i added the leaves myself, and a few branches.

thats how i use them i feel if you mix up the preset and your own it makes the forest look realistic at least. thanks for you input i agree

Butter and biscuits aside, at least you learned a lot from it, what to do, and what not to do. What works out, and what didn't work out.

and yes I agree with the fire.

You're drawing skills go beyond what I can see and understand, so I cannot property critique it.

Don't be like that, it turned out great! maybe for those who knows how it started it can be considered a struggle to finish, but those who only care for the final result should be pleased.

The fire is indeeed great and damn he is huge, the kind of huge that makes you think that there's absolutely no salvation
