HI- Looking for some creative direction!
I started this with no references and while I really like it: I don't know how to proceed. Anyways, any thoughts and/or opinions would be of great help and inspiration. Its about 75cmX50cm

Okay so I started watching Mob Psycho 100 and I realized that's how I wanted my comic fights to look like. So I'm trying out some very exaggerated fight scenes between two characters named Superion and Channel

It doesn't need ONE levels of power to be great... Just saying, because he really goes over the top.

But I like what I see

one actually keeps his fights pretty low key...i would call some of the more violent dc/marvel fight scenes or dbg to be mid tier and shit like tengen toppa or anything involving the heavy hitters from marvel and dc to be over the top combat...

It probably won't be as over the top as ONE's work, but maybe DBZ levels at times. I just really love the feeling of power and movement in those scenes

When my turn comes to make a comic, I'll probably use The Breakers and Hayate X Blade as reference, both mangakas take the movement with lots of care

this took a lot of courage to post, honestly

I decided to test draw a small comic page of my OC manga/comic idea "My Bully is a Ghost Girl", with color.

Idea is about a normal middle-schooler boy who doesn't forward a chain-letter email, becomes haunted by the girl from the email's story.
There's more plot to it but I didn't wanna really make a wall of text

this is good, if you post more lemme know drawing comic pages is my favorite way of drawing, it forces me to draw characters in situation i wouldn't normally draw them in why does she only have one eye?

Thanks~ I agree. It really wakes you up as an artist on how difficult it is to draw even the simplest actions/every day things we do.

As for her eye, I decided that she was murdered and lost it in the brutal way she was killed.
I can't remember why I originally drew her that way, it's been a long time.

I second what anon said. You've got a style that looks so refined and developed you make the art look as if it's easy. I really really like this.

NOT MY WORK! .
now that we got that out of the way. i have a question . i have never seen someone ask this before but, looking at this artwork , its beautifull but simple. is there a way to learn to do smiple yet beautiful work? it seems even harder than doing complicated artworks. how do you learn to be beautifuly simplistic? i cant even think of what i should practice to achive that.

learn to utilize the principles of design 'till they're ingrained in yer' brain.
Logo design and stuff is good. It's supposed to transmit complex ideas of a companies identity at a single glance.
Also, as always, look at the sorta' stuff you wanna' make, or at least the thing that comes closest, and imitate the things you like. Develop your own thing, but look up how it's done.

or in other words, learn how stuff impacts the perception of the viewer and you will know what is actually important to achieve the desired effect without unneccessary add ons.

i understand what you mean but when to me, it seemm that there is a fine line between artworks that look simple becuse the artists didnt know any better and artworks that looks simple yet shows a beautiful image.

getting that magical balance between keeping it simple and making it beautiful is what im trying to understand .
