Currently experiencing this exact issue and couldn't get any of the temp fixes to work.

well, I'm not the one complaining about faulty free, otherwise expensive ass software. If you're having a problem because the version that you currently have is not the latest then you'll have to wait for the next torrented version unless you'd like to pay. and yes, I do read - it's just that I was soo preoccupied in the fact that you couldn't use one feature out of the whole program. A possible solution you could use is to simply find another program that has that same feature and get it.

You're getting real enthusiastic about this.
I mean my post was how I had it pirated, but one feature, which is pretty important (not being able to draw anything) wasn't working, and I was looking for a fix that didn't involve buying it.
We've just kind of gone in a circle.

So eventually, when I get off my lazy ass, I plan to take up drawing as a hobby cause I need something to make myself at least mildly interesting at parties. The problem is, it's about a billion step learning process and I'm on square... 2 (I know how to draw a line and maybe if I try real hard do that scribbly doodle art).

Does anyone have any good video sources that start me off at square 1 and can take me far enough that I could possibly stand on my own?

Or better yet, invest time in me with hopes that someday I'll become a trillionaire artist that remembers their dear old teacher and gives them millions.

Mark Crilley on youtube has some good tutorials, but his art style is manga so that might be a turn off for some. There's also Robert Marzullo who does more traditional western comics. Concept Cookie has some interesting tutorials, but most of his stuff is based on digital art. There's still a bit you can learn from his stuff though

also I would highly recommend checking out the books:

Drawing on the right side of the brain (the author wants you to build some weird shit to really teach you how to observe and what not, but if you don't want to do that then just read up until all that shit starts)
Keys to drawing
Fun with pencil (the beginning of this book is kind of a trap for some people, when the author tells you to draw all those silly characters from shapes, you don't have to use the same old-timey style that he uses)

Those are three of the better beginner books that I know.

Well, I want some millions... But I'm not a teacher, if you're just starting you should just draw whatever you feel like it or try many different things to see what you like most... Anime, cartoon, cars, furry, landscapes, robots... When you get some exp maybe we can start giving you a proper guidance.

Also use references, dunno go to deviantart and follow some artist ... You will also get hundreds of tutorials there.

And lastly... Is nice to have a hobby but not just to have something to talk about in parties, you gotta enjoy it, so be sure you want to take the art route.

Having a tablet won't make your ability to design better. Onlu thing it would be good for is pressure sensitivity and with your poster you wouldn't really need that. Other than sensitivity your mouse can do what a tablet can.

To make a poster succesfull you need to take a few things in consideration.
Like is it clear enough? Is the poster well balanced? Do the colors work? Can you immediatly tell what the poster is about?
I tried to find some links, didn't read it all through but this should be fine: www.printaholic.com/make-poster-good-composition/

I fiddled a bit with the colors, and changed the NFS style font to a more clear Helvetica, except for the even name. I also got rid of the checkered flag background.
Honestly, I like the layout. The slogan draws the eyes directly to the info, and I think the contrasting primary colors work to help grab the eye. This in going to be sitting in a hallway with ~20 other posters around it, so being colorful is a advantage.
Balance I have no idea about, to be honest.

Guys, me and my buddy are going to start a business.
For about 15$ you could write anything on woman (underboob, sideboob, tits [covered], ass, legs and other) or man body (chest, ass, and other)
What do you think about that? Would you be interested in this thing? Just asking btw.

So you have like 2 or more models willing to offer their body to be write on? If the models are cute it might work hehe
Just don't let adunsaveme draw or write something... he has very specific tastes
