OH this reminded me. Hardest part of the SAT, rewriting the "I swear I didn't cheat" paragraph in cursive.... stared at that **** for 5 minutes.... no one on the whole classroom really knew how to write it all.

If the American education system is actually like this then no wonder most of them lack common sense and knowledge.

Yes that's right. In college, American students are made to identify a cat. This post was serious, no jokes.

i would have but why put in the effort when it's clear that your an obvious troll and i assume you do this for the lack of attention you get in real life
User avatar #135 to #131 - kaiizel (04/07/2012) [-]
Then why put anything at all and as a result be the ignorant one?
User avatar #142 to #137 - kaiizel (04/07/2012) [-]
Because you're an idiot and now you have nothing left to say.
User avatar #100 to #82 - joefishsticks (04/07/2012) [-]
This is quite possibly the most ignorant comment I've ever seen on here.
#155 to #100 - anon (04/07/2012) [-]
actually your the ignorant one. the american education system really is ****** . the **** we learn here in high school my parents literally learned in elementary/ beginning of middle school years in Europe.
User avatar #162 to #155 - joefishsticks (04/07/2012) [-]
the ignorant part of his statement was that Americans don't have common sense.
#166 to #162 - anon (04/07/2012) [-]
a lot of them dont... at my school all the "smart kids" that are praised by teachers and are in all advance or college classes are some of the dumbest mother ******* ive met in my life..sure their book smart but anybody who burries their head in a book for 3-4 hrs a day would be. but they have no common sense at all.
User avatar #118 to #100 - kaiizel (04/07/2012) [-]

Actually, some college courses are that easy. I have a music appreciation class where all we do is listen to music and discuss about artists and stuff for 2 hours.

But keep in mind those are the courses that nobody really needs anyways. English, Math, psychology and a few other subjects are ******* tough as **** and should never be taken together. **** , even introductory English (101) requires at least 6 pages every assignment (weekly usually) at my college.
User avatar #88 to #87 - kaiizel (04/07/2012) [-]
Americans are like that.
User avatar #90 to #88 - elginpocketwatch (04/07/2012) [-]
and what is your basis of this ignorant statement?
User avatar #120 to #90 - kaiizel (04/07/2012) [-]
>They're lazy, as a result a majority are overweight.
>They're not the brightest crayon in the pack of colors of the world, past wars are a good example as well as their financial state.
>High crime rate because it's full of ******* and rednecks.
And many, many more reasons.
User avatar #165 to #120 - toxicdisorder (04/07/2012) [-]
-Not all Americans are overweight and lazy
-Some of the worlds leading scientists live and are from America (ex. Brian Greene, one of the worlds leading theoretical physicists, born in New York City)
-High crime rate compared to what countries/country? Sure we may have a pretty high crime rate, but not as high as a lot of other countries.
Either way I'm still planning on moving to Canada or Sweden when I grow older.
User avatar #145 to #120 - elginpocketwatch (04/07/2012) [-]
I would list off your countries problems, but you are a pussy because you restricted your profile so i cannot tell which one you are from.
User avatar #149 to #145 - kaiizel (04/07/2012) [-]
From that one sentence you now give off how stupid you really are. I didn't once go on your profile to see if you're American, I just assumed it because of the huge bitch fit you're throwing over this.
User avatar #168 to #149 - elginpocketwatch (04/07/2012) [-]
i am not throwing a fit, have i cussed extensively? no. Have i used caps lock? no. i am arguing which is not 'throwing a bitch fit'. i am saying that you are an ignorant fool that needs to be reeducated on culture. I am done talking to idiots today, ciao!
User avatar #169 to #168 - kaiizel (04/07/2012) [-]

>MFW I had to Google cursive because here in England we call it "Joined-up handwriting"

Also, I write with a hybrid. I only join what flows naturally; teachers have never complained!
User avatar #103 to #75 - superjavelin (04/07/2012) [-]
Good lord. I always thought Lockheart's line about joined-up writing was meant to make him look childish. Now I realize he meant it in the same way I mean cursive since Rowling is British....

now I feel real nerdy for remembering some obscure line from Order of the Phoenix...

I wasn't insulting Americans for using that language, D-bag. I was actually mocking my country for not using a more succinct word.
