I think these books are heavily responsible for who I am today, they were one of the first series I ever read on my own and helped sculpt a beautiful and fantastic world inside my head. Today I plan on going into game making so that I might be able to one day share such a fantastic world with others as well.

So... Why did this make front page? Thumb me down, but I could have sworn I saw 50 of these posts after the last Harry Potter movies.

Didn't watch a single movie.
Didn't read a single book.
Because it will never be as truly epic or inspiring as .......

Let's completely ignore one series of books/movies because another series out there is better, no matter how good the first is.

I remember when my mom got me the books 1-3 my freshman year in high school. I was immediately hooked on it. Since then, I have honestly lost count of how many times I have read each book over and over and over to the point where I damn near have it all memorized. Hell I even use a quote from the very first book. as a way to explain the reason why death isn't the end. "To the well organized mind, Death is but the next Adventure" Albus Dumbledore... This was where Albus was explaining to Harry why Nicolus Flamel wasn't worried about dying.

We are the Potter Generation...

I had never read Harry Potter, or associated with it until a year or two ago, but I like it. I kinda feel like I missed out on something by not starting at the beginning.

However, the book series that did catch me at the right time was Pendragon. I don't know if most people didn't like it, never read it, or had even heard about it, but it's amazing. I cried when I finished the last book, knowing that the story was over. :(

I hate to admit it, but I never read one of the books, never watched any of the movies either, except the first one. I still understand every single one of the posts about the movie. I enjoy them all as well, when they are in original content. I like this post, but I enjoyed it much much more the first damn time I saw it. Though this is a repost, I still enjoy it, I just ask you admit it is, at least if you knew that it was.
