Though I love this film, Guy Fawkes and his little crew were wankers. They were terrorists, pure and simple. He also fought FOR the Spanish against the Dutch (his country's worst enemy and best ally respectively) and tried to destroy an iconic landmark to murder a king who was softer on Catholics than his predecessors - James actually suspended the Recusancy Laws (enforcing attendance to Protestant services) and attempted to marry his son off to a Catholic to try and encourage peace between Catholics and Protestants. Personally I'd put him on par with Cromwell and Blair as one of the worst Englishman ever.

********. Try being a catholic in 1605, where attending mass was a capital offense.

No, it wasn't.

Also it's "when attending mass was a capital offense". You could at least make up for your lack of historical knowledge with decent grammar.

California is a major supplier of food which would cause a lot of people in Russia specifically to die without that food. And with globalization the worlds economy is pretty intermingled.

If the American people feel that the well being of millions of people is worth their first world country problems lol. But either way I really don't see the population coming together like that because of different views and the economy

Normally, I don't thumb or favorite something that's not funny. In your case, I make an exception...this is perhaps THE best quote from a movie EVER

I also like the "Why won't you die?!"
"Because under this mask is more than flesh. Under this mask is an idea; and ideas are bullet proof!"

And I also laughed out loud literally when they were like "You cannot win - all you have are your knives and silly karate tricks! We have guns-"
"What you have are bullets and the hope that when your guns are empty, I will not be standing, because if I am, you'll all be dead before you even know it."

Basically, EVERYTHING he EVER said is epic.

i won't argue with the awesomeness of that movie. it gets me feelin all revolutionary every time i watch it, sure. however, i think the matrix (just the first one) is a more apt characterization of the human plight. perhaps the "grounded in reality" nature of V is better to get people fired up. but the matrix is still better.

I actually turned off Funnyjunk so I could pay attention to what he was saying.

Amazing movie.
