Dear, towlheads in case you forgot before you wrote this, no american fires his rifle until he is fired upon first... so if you decided to quit being a retard you would realize that if all those people hadnt shot at us first and missed they wouldnt have died... SCOREBOARD

do you even realize how many innocent people american soldiers shoot for no reason?

I know a guy who was in the Marines, fought in Fallujah in '05. It was a cluster **** of a mess. He went through a lot, lost friends, so you can imagine how someone would get jumpy on the trigger finger. You end up fighting to save your friends lives, and when it's "Us vs. Everyone Else", they don't take too many chances. It's sad, but that's the reality.

Hey, if the middle east didn't want to get their **** ****** up by the U.S. Military, then they shouldn't have committed an ACT OF WAR. Killing civilians is an act of war IN ANY COUNTRY. We didn't start the war. Personally, as an American, I would have rather stayed out of it, until SOMEONE goes and murders just short of three thousand Americans. **** you, bin Laden. May God have mercy on your worthless soul.

Middle east didn't start it.
It's the rebel's / terrorist fault.

Seriously, think before you post.

why are you downplaying the significance of 9/11?
also, it's not like we just said "yeah? well we can kill a ******** of your civilians too!" if we had not reacted swiftly with great force we would have given other terrorists the impression that if they attacked us there would be no serious retribution which is not the impression i want a terrorist to have.
#179 to #170 - senortroll (09/14/2011) [-]
That severe action was not needed. A swift recovery at home and tightened security would have been enough but Bush had to invade somewhere. Yes it did send a message to the terroists. But it also sent a message to the world saying we attack whoever the **** we want (not a good message if your tiny brain doesn't understand). And he is not downplaying 9/11. He is showing how horrible the war in Iraq has been and how ****** up the situation is over there. Now shut up unless you have something useful to say.

i don't agree with the war in iraq for starters. second, we went to afghanistan initially for one reason, to hunt down and kill the people responsible for 9/11, it was only when the taliban refused to cooperate (in effect harboring terrorists) that we actively invaded afghanistan (which i do not think sends the message you mentioned). iraq was a bad choice, i agree. and a swift recovery and tightened security would not have done anything. the main reason we haven't had a major attack in the past ten years is because it's hard to plan a terrorist attack when americans keep killing your strategists

one last thing, lay off the personal insults, it makes me value your opinion less.

Dear Middle east, Muslim Extremist have been attacking "western" targets for damn near 40 years with little to no consequences. 9/11 was a tipping point were they took **** too far and the countries that Harbor them were targets and will forever be targets until these countries stop letting terrorists train plan and recruit within their borders. I feel bad for civilians that are displaced by what is going on but it's the way things are sometimes. But those figures that you are trying to pass off as civilians are mostly insurgent fighters

#158 to #143 - KillerKlownKKK (09/14/2011) [-]
I never said there hasn't been terrorist born in this Country, It's a statically inevitable that in a country of over a Billion people 1 or 2 will be crazy enough to do something extreme. But the big difference is that in America there are Laws and thousands of enforcement personal trying to stop them. In lets say Iran there are huge camps and training facilities were thousands of terrorists are trained and Unchecked by the Government because they (the Government) are funding them and want them to kill and maim anyone who doesn't think the way they do. So your point is not only invalid it's ignorant and irresponsible.

User avatar #60 to #59 - trolljunkusa (09/14/2011) [-]
Lol, thats a lie

We suck at killing terrorists and they are actually a hard enemy. there dirty bombs made with less then 200 dollars of **** , are killing our soldiers in humvys that are 100K or more. Also we have weapons that can easily be several thousand dollars each, where as terrorists are winning with weapons they found on the ground. ALSO Terrorists kill 3 soldiers a day, we kill 1-4 terrorists a day

dude my ******* brothers in the Army. Ignorant son of a bitch you are.
#68 to #62 - swordsman (09/14/2011) [-]
You're incorrect by a pathetically huge amount. Our current death toll is 3,510. Meaning that since we've been at war since 2003, the total soldiers killed each day (if you split it up evenly over the days, which couldn't happen but whatever) would be 1.2 soldiers per day.

Compared to the 19,000 terrorists confirmed killed (as stated by USA Today), that's nothing. I have a good number of friends who are serving over there, so to hear your BS is insulting to say the least.

YOUR DEATH TOLL COUNT ISN'T EVEN RIGHT! The total civilians according to the Iraq Family Health Survey is 151,000 deaths. The others were caused indirectly through disease, starvation, or violence. Not by our bullets.

Get your statistics right, then make a post, Idiot.
User avatar #70 to #68 - swordsman (09/14/2011) [-]
Even if you take the "Excess" death toll, it only reaches 655,000.
User avatar #77 to #68 - wallsbad (09/14/2011) [-]

I wish you weren't so ignorant, these statisitcs are true. Believe it or not every were, even in the richer and more posh areas in the Middle East are being pushed to their limits everyday. Drugs are at high cost, murder is at low cost. My friend who lives over there, who is also my Ex-Fiance, was taken out of his car and had the living **** beat out of him by cops just because he was seen driving with a smoke.
Women are beaten for having their hijabs fly off, which isn't even their fault.
Shut the **** up American Swine, you and George Bush give Americans bad names.
User avatar #73 to #67 - wallsbad (09/14/2011) [-]
Cool story, cunt. I think it's pretty funny that women are beat over there because of religious standards. How's it feel living in a sub-standard 3rd world country? With the remaining 1813 character limit after the "3," I can't even explain how ******* hypocritical you arab countries are. Everything you're goat ******* countries accuse America of, you are equally as guilty. Solve your own problems and stop sucking America's tit for help.

Iraq was in control of Saddam Hussein, A dictator, who order genocide against the Kurds, using poison gas and other means of killing and maiming innocents of his own country. He brain-washed children into loving him, he also forced every sunnies boy into military school once they reach the age of 12 (and one girl. I actually met this women while i was on tour in Iraq. She was a general's daughter...and well...lets just say Saddam order him to send her) he also divided his country further due to his Sunnies first and only right to live process and treated Shia's like slaves and animals. He also wanted to make Kuwait 'his' and invaded. Thus Gulf war began. and ended on high tension. We can thank the Russian Prime minister Vladimir for the Iraq invasion. since he told our President Bush that they were planning to attack us.

The only reason the death count among civilian were so high is due to terrorist tactics in using the civilians as cover and forcing them to fight for them. Bribery and hostages were used, some had no choice other to fight, but to save their families.

Some people would only complain with all the info just have. You are one them. Middle east is like being back in time, were the Strongest live and weakest die.

My second time ranting about this, and I don't want to have to do this anymore haha. I'm an American, on 9/11 i was disturbed, sad, all that jazz. Its been 10 ******* years, and the government ****** up in the way they dealt with the war. I laugh at **** about the holocaust, and I laugh at **** about 9/11, makes no difference to me. Not all Americans have their heads up their asses, actually almost everyone I know laughs at 9/11 jokes, understands what we did in the middle east, knows that we're not the only ones on the planet. We know that there's been way worse out there, like the holocaust, or the Khmer in Cambodia.

In other words, Don't let some prick ass Americans who think that they're the only ones matter represent the rest of us!
