I'm not really sure about this, but I think there was a comic about how Alfred was batman.

Batman could solo Superman

Batman has soloed superman. The thing with fighting Superman is that there is always some Kryptonite lying around somewhere, and either Lex Luthor has it or Batman.
User avatar #9 to #6 - angelious (06/28/2013) [-]
superman has soloed batman 8 times while batman only twice in canon comics

also supes has many ways to counter kryptonite he isnt stupid
#18 to #9 - RageGuyyourmom (06/28/2013) [-]
Batman would kill any metahuman that threatened mankind like supes does, can you imagine if bats was trying to kill? He would be unstoppable, youd go home after a long day and suddenly red sun everywhere supes, looks like youre an everyday man now.
User avatar #45 to #18 - angelious (06/29/2013) [-]
would you imagine if superman wanted to rule earth.or be a threat to mankind

not only is he smarter than batman and used to fight againts people like him he also is way stronger than almost anybody that earth can throw at him.

the power distance between the two can be summed up in one line at one elsewhere story:

in the story superman finally snaps and he decides to kill batman and before he does so he says the line: you only lived this long because i let you live!

also batman himself stated that anytime they fight superman could easily just smash him to the concrete and be done with it but supes is too kind to actually do that.

bats has kryptonite based weaponry meant to pierce supermans protections if its necessary. Foolproof no, but bats has been known for survival against the odds.
User avatar #47 to #46 - angelious (06/30/2013) [-]
superman fights againts kryptonite using opponents on daily basis.some of these guys are much more smarter and formidable than batman.also supermans electric field(that gives him his durability) extends just outside of his skin(hence why the skin tight clothing) so unless batman can somehow create a supernova without destroying himself in and earth in progress he isnt going to dent the clothing
User avatar #7 to #6 - galkawhm (06/28/2013) [-]
Batman does carry some kryptonite with him just in case superman goes rouge.

Funny, but DC has it's own Deadpool. Deathstroke, also known as Slade Wilson.
User avatar #39 to #17 - spaceshark (06/29/2013) [-]
**** yeah, Slade!
#24 to #17 - achphoenix (06/28/2013) [-]
slade... wade.... makes sense actually O.O
User avatar #26 to #24 - lyiat ONLINE (06/28/2013) [-]
Further more, Deathstroke is more widely known as his real name, Slade. You might remember him from Teen Titans.
#48 to #26 - ryuryu (07/01/2013) [-]
Actually, Deadpool's name is Wade, Deathstroke's name is Slade, and it's Slade who's in Teen Titans,
User avatar #49 to #48 - lyiat ONLINE (07/01/2013) [-]
.... Yes. Exactly. Reread what I said?
#50 to #49 - ryuryu (07/01/2013) [-]
Read that as Deadpool about 5 times

My bad, Take this
User avatar #27 to #26 - achphoenix (06/28/2013) [-]
i knew him as slade first, because of teen titans. i was only made aware of his alias Deathstroke "recently"

Hmm, A successful, palm strike to the mouth followed by a ton sau knocking the gun away while the other hand is prepped for a bon sau and a finish up with a flat foot to the stomach. Good show of Wing Chun, but he is to ridgid with his movements. Also, the hand needs to be opened or in a fist, because the way it was shows more tiger style than the more fluid Wing Chun which the rest of the comic implies.

Because that guy wouldn't back up after the first hit.
User avatar #19 to #13 - sanguinesolitude (06/28/2013) [-]
one must assume this happened in rapid succession.
User avatar #21 to #19 - smittywrbmnjnsn (06/28/2013) [-]
If one is assuming that it is happening in rapid succession, the time required for the man to reach into his jacket and pull out his gun, would be time enough to step backward at the same time.
User avatar #22 to #21 - sanguinesolitude (06/28/2013) [-]
well he was probably pulling the gun already, which is why alfred hit him. My biggest question is how alfred got the gun in his right hand.
User avatar #37 to #22 - smittywrbmnjnsn (06/28/2013) [-]
Yeah, I saw that too, but I figured that point was less important.
