I found it. The series of photos is a refference to this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013%E2%80%9320...

The old man was the leader of a series of anti-government protests that took place in Thailand. Those protests eventually lead to a coup d'état that's still ruling over Thailand. The whisltes that girl is blowing are a symbol of the protest.

This is an interesting situation. Quote from the current Prime Minister, former military general. He's quite the strong leader.

Looks like two skinned chickens, a loose branch, and a saw... Oh! Tuscaloosa. Two skin loose saw, for the plebs who don't get it.

For one thing, I think the stick is a back scratcher, but I don't know what the chicken is for (unless those were two attempts at drawing a hammer before the artist gave up). Maybe they were all for back scratching at some point in time, including the barn itself. That would make more sense if the chickens were alive though.

Or since the old man seems to be drawn in the same mass of gray as the girl maybe the girl we see is actually the old man and when he got enough money he was able to make himself look like a woman. So the middle picture is a weird transformation picture?

I don't think either of these are what it is but I've got no idea. There seems to be a man standing in the top right window in the final panel, maybe that means something.
