Loved that game. Love Jack Black. The different styles of Rock fighting it out, with hair metal and goth/emo being the bad guys, is great. The visuals were like a rock album cover too.

Oh and Tim Curry playing one of the leather bound badies was awesome.

I hope it gets a sequel someday.

They did for Psychonauts, but I guess that means Brutal Legend's sequel will be in VR only.

I didn't mind it. I'm **** at RTS games so the extremely dumb-downed RTS stuff wasn't so bad.

A free-roam action/adventure with RPG elements without the RTS would be great.

I've never seen actual gameplay of Brutal Legend, but from what little I know it sounds like you might want to check out the Darksiders series if you haven't already.

He was asking for an action/adventure with RPG elements. The combat is similar as they're hack and slash games (I think at least? Unless Brutal Legends is significantly different than what I think it is...). So I thought Darksiders fit that bill pretty well.

Darksiders 2 may as well be a puzzle game, though.

Im not saying you're wronf necessarily. I would compare darksiders more to legend of zelda personally. It did have some puzzle aspects.
Brutal ledgends is kinda in a weird little genre of its own to me. Kinda like borserlands being a FPSRPG, brutal ledgends is a... RTSRPG? Idk.

Both are great games that should be played though.
