I second that. I was always on Microsoft's side, because I hate Apple. I was impressed with Windows 7 and even Windows XP, I've owned various Xboxes since about 2001, Bill Gates is awesome, etc. But Windows 8 and Xbox One are making me lose faith.

I heard Windows 8 is coming out with a patch to make it's interface like windows 7 again, while keeping the enhanced preformance of windows 8.

As for XBOX One, they ****** up. People might say "wait to see more, don't judge yet", but judging only comes from criticism of observed things. From what we've observed so far, XBO looks like ****. Perhaps it'll be better, but for now, ****.

The interface isn't the bloody problem.
It's the application licensing and backwards compatibility (that there isn't much of it). that is the problem.
