And its 39gigs on xbox one, why the **** does it take that 10 more to install on PS4? The touchpad cant take up that much space. PS4 ships with 500GB of memory, so it isnt THAT bad, but im sure people will be wanting to upgrade it as fast as possible.

iirc, it's because PS4 has higher-res textures. Those textures take up almost unbelievable amounts of space.

How, what, why, here i was thinking i know how **** works and its all blown to ****. Why does PC take less to install then?

There's always a possibility that the PS4 needed 10 GBs of compatibility patches, but admittedly, that seems a little silly. I also know that the PC is supposed to receive a pretty big patch at some point, adding a ton of new graphical pretties, but I'd heard that it was supposed to primarily encompass PC features, such as high-end anti-aliasing and PhysX.

TL;DR - I've got no damn clue. I can guess a whole bunch, but at the end of the day, a certain amount of the disparities in size are just weird.
