Always getting Booker through doors he cant pass, getting him stuff he needs, even reviving him all the time. Elizabeth's the one who's escorting Booker.

Well except for the one theory about the deaths though.

***Plot spoilers***

You know when he dies? The room he comes into and goes back out of? Although I haven't really confirmed it, I liked this one theory about it. The times she isn't there to save him, its merely a Booker from an alternate reality that steps in and continues. When you die, you DO die!

You aren't escorting Elizabeth.

She is escorting you.

You are the one who gets into danger, runs out of ammo, health and salts and needs constant help.

She is never in any danger whatsoever.

Not to mention how she has to drag your close-to-lifeless body around if you're too much of a bitch to take out your enemies and bring your candy coated ass back from the dead.

Here she is gathering supplies 'n' **** in the heat of battle, and you can't even do your single job right.

That's how badly she's escorting you.

my very honest opinion about this game is that it is one of the best games ive ever played. the interface is absolutely amazing, the story builds to an ode of insanity to an ending that absolutely blows your mind, but if you find the voxophones it makes a bit more sense, giving you more incentive to find them . Onto elizabeth, she has to be the best and most helpful AI companion ever, she finds what you need most, points out picks, finds money for you, goes into hiding, explains things to you throughout the game and doesnt annoy the **** out of you. the luteces were a wonderful add on too!! overall 11/10 from me

And then there are the facts that the game is way too easy, has a 2 weapon limitaion, you have no freedom as to the order in which you get Vigors, upgrades to Vigors, Passive Skills(Gear), the upgrades to weapons, and weapons themselves.
The story also has unnecessary padding in places, clearly there just to prolong the running time of the game(most of the SIren part, for example).

That game is good, don't get me wrong, but it's not as perfect as everyone makes it out to be.
User avatar #86 to #64 - therealtjthemedic (04/04/2013) [-]
Two weapon limit is good though. It's unrealistic to lug all that **** round
#90 to #86 - delivering (04/04/2013) [-]
>Floating city in the sky
>Shooting fire and lightning out of your hands
>Giant founding-fathers robots shooting at you
>Clothes that gives you superpowers
>Reality warping
>Time travel
>Alternate universes
.
.
.
>Realism

Do you even know how stupid that sounds?
"Realism" is thrown out the window when you ******* start the game and end up in a ******* floating city in the ******* sky.
The two-weapon limit is there for one reason - consoles. The same reason as with auto-saves instead of manual saves and lack of a map, because the consoles lack buttons that allow you to switch between multiple weapons easily.
And from a gameplay standpoint, the two-weapon limit is bad.
User avatar #91 to #90 - therealtjthemedic (04/04/2013) [-]
*sigh*
Whenever I ******* talk about realism in a fantasy setting to anyone they pull that argument. Just because you can time travel does not mean you can hold hundreds of guns. Just because there are robots, and floating cities also does not mean that. Relative realism.
You must get a lot of mentions though.
#92 to #91 - delivering (04/04/2013) [-]
You have a vigor that allows you to store an infinite number of items within your body.

There, problem solved. Ability to carry tons of weapons and ammo explained.

The point is, if it's a fantasy setting, they could have just used a fantasy explanation for being able to hold more than two weapons, that works withing that universe. There was no reason from a storytelling standpoint to have that limitation.
They used a simmilar explanation for having a regenerating shield - vigor that grants you that. Boom, done.

Not to mention that, in the game as it is, you are still able to carry full ammo, for all weapons, even if you are only carring two actual weapons at a time. Still equally improbable as carrying multiple weapons, which defeats the argument of "realism". 8 rockets for an RPG take up around the same space as carrying 4 other guns.
#104 to #90 - shishiko **User deleted account** (04/04/2013) [-]
You seem to forget that Bioshock 1 and 2 had 8 weapons and was EXTREMELY easy to switch on Consoles, hold a button down, brings up the weapons, chose with the stick, Done. 2 weapons was annoying and had no reason for it being there.
Auto-saves save time by doing in between areas which work fine.
I don't see how a map was ever needed.

Just shut up.

oh im very well aware of the flaws of the game, like the middle part was pretty padded, and the order of the vigors was a tad annoying but you could find some earlier in the games in the right spots. the weapons all depend on what you prefer; on my run through of 99 mode, i used a sniper because i love sniping. and the gears were random based, you got what you got. still a fantastic game, especially in the era of FPS games, fantastic compared to most. i do agree the story was a bit short though :/

No, she can't die. In fact if you die she brings you back to life. RPG to the face? Don't you die on me! Knocked off the floating city to fall miles to the hard ground below? all right. thank you for the clarification.

well, it doesn't happen 100% of the time. in a way there is a hidden timer where she wont throw you anything, like if your low on health and she already threw you a health pack in the last however many seconds or so, she'll say "dont have anything" or "still looking" it happens often enough to make the game not frustrating. also when she revives you, your pulled off to the side like where a vita chamber would be located.
