An awesome feature for ps4!. An awesome feature that I feel didn't get much attention. Use whatever headphones you like, and no need for bulky adapters. Source: PS4

Wii U GamePad has a headphone jack, and it's almost been out for a year.

issue is the Wii U was a considerable failure as a system, wasnt even advertised as a separate system until it came out, but i didnt know this and it gets you a green

But the Wii U is really, really bad. So it doesn't count.

Headphones powered by a game controller. Wow, that sound must be ground shaking

It's not supposed to compete with 7.1 surround sound systems.... it's supposed to be convenient and give you the option.

Besides, DTA Audio converter doesn't need much power to have great quality sound.

I'd be more concerned about how the audio signal is encoded and then sent to to controller. EG the bluetooth headphone standard is something mediocre like 192 kbps

WHY WAS THIS NOT CONSIDERED AN IMPORTANT FEATURE SONY?!?!??
