Sooooo it's been shown that the real enemy of women is other women as they put each other down.

How about we ignore the feminists, leave them to themselves and watch them all go crazy at each other?

They can't be ignored because they creep into politics and try to appeal to the government. Ignoring feminists gets **** like Caroline Norton's divorce court bias passed. Plato put it best: "Refusing to participate in politics means you end up being governed by your inferiors."

Feminism isn't bad. At least not all feminism. Rule of thumb is: if they are preaching equality then they are worth listening to, if they are speaking gibbish or about triggers or privilege, they're dumb and should be ignored.
#35 to #25 - John Cena (08/14/2014) [-]
I think it's all self-contained. Women just make fun of each other and have inadvertently created the "patriarchy" of other women being jealous. Some men join in feminism to get women's approval. It'll pass.

What will pass more slowly is FJ making fun of them.

Feminists are raiding Wikipedia?
******* hell they're a sick bunch these days.

>inb4 feminists are mostly good and these are just extremists

Face it, these feminists think they're the good ones and so do the ones about to comment about how these are the extremists and they're the really good ones.

The last 60 years of feminists were the extremists, they just get stupider every generation.

I would classify this occurrence as another Heuristic.

(see link) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heuristic.

What individuals need to make sure of is when to use it or not. I have my own opinions on subjects that others probably would not agree with. I would eventually would like to go vegan (to try it out ) but for the longest time I refused because people who where vegan had put such a negative connotation that , I preferred not be automatically associated with them due to again, Heuristics. Some people rely on Heuristics too heavily .

Just an example, had a real life friend in High school complain to me that all men are assholes, every single one! But if you looked at every single person she dated they were all extremely similar...extreme fitness nuts/ A type personality/ cocky and same humor style where you makes jokes at others expenses. What got me in trouble was not me informing her that well you date assholes (as that never goes over well). Was that I mentioned...they are all wearing the same exact shirt, just different colors... .. weeks later she apologies for yelling at me.

She is now dating someone who is more laid back and down to earth and they are getting married. me and her fiance sometimes have fun with coordinating shirts with our mutual friends so we meet at a bar and all the guys in the group wear the same shirt style or color. So when she walked into the bar first thing she sees is 4-5 guys all wearing the same shirt mimicking each others movements just to poke fun.

Cheers

User avatar #8 to #7 - teranin ONLINE (08/13/2014) [-]
Yes, but the why is the trick. Jews are also funding/helping fund certain men's rights groups as well. Their goal isn't increasing degeneracy, that's just a happy addition to their real goal, which is to distract via social issues from their allocation of "ownership" for all resources.

Zion gets fat, we get fat arrogant women.

It's a clever system they have.

I've some government bonds and shares in a few blue chip companies but i don't even own them if they take more and more taxes on my returns.

Good news in Europe, the Muslims might just save us from them, too bad america doesn't have as many Muslims, they could get rid of the jews and then we get rid of the Muslims.

Nothing. These two are just idiots who think every bad thing in the world is connected to every other bad thing. They are conspiracy theorists who use the same logic the feminists use to justify themselves. Everything in the world is the fault of the patriarchy, all evidence to the contrary is sexist and meant to mislead. Everything in the world is the fault of the Jews, all evidence to the contrary is Zionist and meant to mislead.

Ignore them.

Not sure how well this will go over but here goes: I am a woman. I am not as physically strong as the average adult man, even if I move more furniture than said man (mother works at a LaZBoy.) I am not as emotionally reserved as the average man. I have a published novel about a failed romance and a raging STD epidemic, so that speaks for itself. And yes, when I go out I do carry a can of mace and I have taken self defense classes.

...I honestly don't understand the sheer hatred these "feminists" have towards men. I am a complete type A personality, Alpha, go getter, RED on the color scheme of social tendencies, the whole 9: My dream in 5 years is to have a husband to greet at the door wearing nothing but heels (with my Masters hanging on the wall behind me, mind you, lol). I love the idea of being a wife and mom. I love the idea of being the "good woman behind every great man" and I love the idea that every time I will "be in the kitchen" cooking for my bf/husband/family, I get to show my love by providing for them. I love the idea of being more than he can handle when the doors are closed. But I also love the notion of pursuing my degree, having my career, and striving for my own goals.

Why is it that even to a feminist I am seen as "bowing to the patriarchy?" in all this? I can't answer. My only hope is that you all know that just like every guy on FJ isn't a "neck-beard brony" that not all women are these nut jobs.

#80 to #45 - problematique (08/14/2014) [-]
It's because your goals are well-respected as long as they're yours and not induced by society. The problem is with all the women that do not want to live the life that you're living, which pardon me if i offend you, is what we'd call the 'average life of a woman in west civilisation' these days. But what happens to the women that do not want to succumb to that life style? In my experience when a woman refuses to be a mother she's deemed problematique and needs special care/therapy/treatment or whatever.

I think feminism, in west civilisation, is more of a social issue since legally the rights of a man and a woman agaisnt the law are equal (i suppose?). But where I am from, I can tell from my experience, which I know may not mean a lot, that women generally are treated as less of a human in comparison to men. And I don't mean like animals, but they're prone to not be taken seriously if they don't have 'manly' qualities within them. If you care I could elaborate more

No, this post is a contestation of feminism, and the actions of feminists. Most women would say they are not feminists, thanks to behavior just like this.
User avatar #60 to #46 - TheseChocodiles (08/14/2014) [-]
I'm a feminist but I'm not like any of those women, which are properly termed radical feminists. I have never met one nor heard of anybody who has dealt with one. Just read about their theories in my sociology classes. In my country all the feminists I know are cool girls with a lot of friends. In other countries are people dealing with psychopath feminists? I know there must be some crazy feminists where I am too, but they must hide away in corners. I think the big difference is noticing who somebody is a feminist for, for example I am a feminist for the women in India who can't marry who they like, or the women in Saudi Arabia who get treated like dogs, or the women in Africa who get raped and nothing is done about it. In a western society especially if the woman has a standard middle class life, if she is focused on her own problems, then you have to question her.

it seems to me that modern feminism has been hijacked by people with borderline and narcissistic personality disorders. their madness carries a lot of weight (lol) in certain circles but the majority of people won't take them seriously, its obvious feminazis aren't playing with a full deck; many almost certainly have serious mental and psychological disorders and these so called feminist groups only represent their own vanity and hatred. I really hope nixon was right about the silent majority, and that people give no ***** about crazy.

What Trevor Philips thinks about feminism
#53 - shikoti (08/14/2014) [-]
This is an extremely hilarious and insightful post.
It is unfortunate thing that has occurred. The way I see it is, there is nothing wrong with feminism at all ( I am male). I believe we should ensure that we provide equal rights to both females and males. (I am thought not much of a fan of affirmative action as itself can discriminate either sex).
Before I get distracted and go off on a larger tangent. When it comes down to it... the problem is that individuals who are Misandrist; think they are Feminist. We are at a critical stage in our world where I believe that we need to learn from our past , apply the fixes to the policies and then move on.
This is also how I feel about tumbler, where in they are attempting to guilt/ put other people down because they don't share physical or mental qualities ( the different gender categories). There are only certain things in life we have control of, I am 5,5 stocky build (friend jokes with me and calls me koodo because I look similar to the character for the advertisement). The whole overuse of ptsd and ocd and the agument of "if you dont agree with w.e I say you are oppressing me". I have ocd, I can not emphasis the frustration i get over it. I once missed a critical flight because I lost a necklace my late uncle gave me and when I stress out my personal ocd (of three's).
Change what you can, accept what you can't, is something I hope is not lost to most. Hopefully as a group/community we can make it a better place.

Some may vote this down as they might feel I am attacking their personal beliefs, but I hope they see the other side of the coin, there are points in life where you have to face reality.

thyroid issue + healthy eating = you may not look in shape (abs, muscular definition) but you are healthy.
What annoys me are people who eat extremely unhealthy and then say, not my fault thyroid issue...

few bad apples can easily rot the whole barrel.

Thin Privilege is having your body type appreciated at Christmas
Christmas is my favorite time of year. One of my favorite things about the holiday is that Santa Claus is one of the few fat-positive characters in popular culture. He’s strong and gentle and kind and loves children and is FAT!!

Well, I was listening to a friend’s iPod, and a song called “Sexy Santa” by a band called Steel Panther came on. The lyrics were so incredibly traumatizing I’m having trouble typing straight. Right out of the gate, the singer yells “Santa’s getting ripped and he’s lost some weight/he’s on a low-carb diet and he’s looking great.” Other choice lyrics include “More cushion for the pushin’ don’t apply to him now/he looks hot but he used to be a big fat cow”—as though being fat is incompatible with being hot! Somehow this song manages to erase the fat identity of Santa Claus, one of the few fat characters not denigrated in general in our fatphobic culture, while also erasing fat people’s sexuality: as though fat people aren’t hot and sexually desirable.

Thin privilege is not having your favorite holiday undermined by ubiquitous fatphobia. Thin privilege is not having your sexuality erased by fatphobic musicians.
