If only the ******* balancing the game weren't clearly biased as **** .

the classes are completely balanced, though some combinations are powerful, just how much depends on the individual skill of the player

I can't believe you aren't kidding. No, the classes aren't all perfectly balanced, open your ******* eyes. For example, the Pyro's flamethrower has less than 5 times the DPS compared to the Heavy's minigun, it also has less DPS compared to almost every other non-melee weapon in the game. Justify that.

Well, his minigun has a far as hell range and moves pretty quick.

Except for the Mini-sentry.

Which is exactly why you always see 2 pyros 2 engis a spy and a heavy in competitive 6v6?

Competitive play is enitrely different. You also don't ever see anything but the base weapons in competitive play, but there are some unlockables clearly better than the base weapons. Tf2 was designed completely for casual play with no competitive scene in mind.

I think the pyro's a bit on the weak side. :c

It really depends on the situation. In midfights pyros aren't that great and generally our team's (I play highlander competitive) pyro stays near me and whoever I'm healing, just to deter jumpers and scouts/spies. However, in areas which aren't too open, pyros can be scary. The Axtinguisher is a REALLY nasty surprise when you walk around a corner. Also, Soldiers and demos can be unpleasantly surprised by a good pyro.

I disagree.

I personally think the heavy is really overpowered.

When I play as him, it does not take me much effort to capture control points or get a high amount of kills.

Go against a good solly, he'll just keep popping around corners, draining your health until you die.
It's even worse if I have the Black Box, then you're ****** .

You must play on servers where there are no good spies or snipers. Heavies die in seconds if someone knows what they're doing.

Even after a few minutes of playing you should realize that heavies are just big billboards.
Especially if you get the drop on them.
User avatar #31 to #21 - gorillaztwentyfour (08/22/2013) [-]
agreed, they're bullet magnets on servers with experienced players.
#115 to #31 - rdobet (08/22/2013) [-]
Basically the heavy's entire purpose is to just be a bullet magnet. Without a medic he's mostly just there to be a tank. With a medic he's basically a walking target unless the map's really narrow.

Exactly, the only unbalanced part of TF2 are random crits. I hate them so very much..
User avatar #9 to #4 - SirSheepy (08/22/2013) [-]
There are plenty of no random crit servers.
User avatar #5 to #4 - DingoJ (08/21/2013) [-]
actually having a little luck play in that can either make or break your life is fun in my opinion, makes sure to keep some extra balance in there too
#89 to #5 - anon (08/22/2013) [-]
random crits are more likely if you've been playing well recently.
so it makes the good better.
