It would likely bring a ton of money into the gov if they were to sell it.

I only have ONE problem with completely legalizing it.

Since it would probably be as easy to obtain are cigarettes, just more expensive, kids would probably somehow get ahold of it, people would smoke it on their breaks or whenever bored on their jobs and we'd get a bunch more of numbnut useless people eventually living on welfare buying weed constantly because now they don't need a reason to smoke it.
And again, kids would get ahold of it, go to school high, weed culture develops, and the last thing America needs right now is kids that are dumber than they already are.

/rant over, inb4 red thumbs because of the opinion police.

while i whole heartedly want ********* legalized your points don't make to much sense. Kids are going to get ahold of it no matter what, if the government would ever legalize weed, they would control it like alcohol, so you wouldn't see people in parks all over the place smoking weed cause your not allowed to do that with alcohol, people wouldn't be smoking on breaks or at work because you can't with alcohol. There are ways to test if you are high. (mainly shining a light into the pupil to see how it contracts) so you can get a dwi while under the influence *********** just like alcohol. And like i said earlier kids are going to get it no mater what, if they legalize it and put a age cap. (say 21) kids are still going to find a way to get it because there is still so so so so so so many cases of underage drinking. So sad as it may say if the government truly cares about our kids we would lose alot of drugs and all of alcohol, there goes energy drinks and caffinated pops. coffee goes away so do poppieseed muffins. So all in all it would be better for the government to legalize it and maybe keep it away from kids that way rather than having it illegal and kids getting it so much easier

You make a good point. Then again, I recall years ago, there were multiple kids who went to my school, who were, "stoners." And those same kids, now have no money, and don't have jobs. I'm serious. Possibly, if I would have been a stoner, I wouldn't have got the sweet job I have now. Which would be a Machinima Director.

However, if none of that stuff were to happen and people use it responsibly, i find that unlikely, I would totally be for legalizing it.

I doubt it will be legalized; since as stated, people would be doped out of their minds. On the job, in school, ect... This is why we can't have nice things.
