I smoked weed/legal 1-3 times a day for 4 months. There was a 3 week period that I wasn't sober longer than 3 hours. Weed ***** up your short-term memory. I can't stay on task very much anymore, my grades are still low even though I've been sober since December. People talk to me and I don't even comprehend certain things that they say. I don't have a problem with weed, but it can be very abusive and it actually does cause problems.

Any number of things can be the reason of your low grades. I know people who used weed daily for several years, and they have talked about their memory not being the same anymore. But, not so much that it's affecting their daily life. Today they are normal adults in work. The fact that some can't handle it, and others abuse it, doesn't mean it should be illegal to those who use it in a responsible way.

yea it will **** you up if you smoke it all day every day but like once every couple of days is virtually harmless. also eating the weed in a brownie is about as harmless as a glass of wine

It could be that you were always a dumb-ass and weed just helped you realize it.

I was a nerdy straight A student all through highschool but once I started smoking I have a lot more friends, enjoy life more and STILL get straight A's. Marijuana shouldn't be illegal because YOU'RE a ******* idiot who can't handle it.

I can only reassure you that your experience is not typical ad I would look for another underlying nueroednocrine disorder before summarily blaming weed.
Some very intelligent individuals who smoke weed (I am purposefully limiting this list to verifiable lifetime HEAVY users because the list of of all successful, high achieving cannabis users of note would be too long)
Abbie Hoffman, Allen Ginsberg, Andy Warhol, Anjelica Huston, Beatles, Bill Murray, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Buddy Rich, Carl Sagan, Cheech Marin (my peronal favorite when he PWND in celebrity Jeopardy), Douglas Adams, Dr Francis Crick, Duke Ellington, Francis Ford Coppella, George Washington, The Greatful Dead, Hunter S. Thompson, Jack Kerouac, Jack Nicholson, Lenny Bruce, Lewis Carroll, Lord Byron, Marlon Brando, Mary Shelly, Mick Jagge, Miles Davis, Niel Young, Oliver Stone, Oscar Wilde, Pablo Picasso, Paul Simon, Peter Fonda, Pink Floyd, Salvador Dali, Samuel Beckett, Sinead O'Connor, Sigmun Freud, Tenessee Williams, Sting, Willie Nelson, Woody Harrelson, et al
