Space Race revolved around Pearl's desperation for freedom to leave Earth again. Steven freaked out and they abandoned the whole pursuit because it would take too long to go anywhere (and the ship fell apart mid-flight).

And now they have something that crosses the galaxy in minutes and probably contains a great deal of potential insight into modern Homeworld technology and they just palm that **** off to the two gems who've tried to kill them all before?

And then, these same two gems express a complete lack of interest in the ship itself despite the fact that it could let Lapis go wherever in the universe she wanted and would grant Peridot much more in the way of suitable technology to use and they ******* decorate it and leave it in the yard unattended??

It's a Dragon Age style dark fantasy rpg with a smaller budget and only 2 playable characters. It's... alright, it's not great. In fact it can be glaringly unpolished sometimes, but it has a certain charm to it that's hard to ignore. There's a certain love and creativity that the designers put in to it that would otherwise have been sanded over by a soulless marketing executive if it were a big name big budget game. The fighting can be a bit repetitive sometimes but it's oddly satisfying and has plenty of fun moves like Goblin Throw (Fastball Special!) that a big budget game would've cut just because some suit thought having archers on the catwalk would be too exciting. The story also has a fun approach to a lot of fantasy tropes (the fact that you're an orc and goblin looking to assassinate the leader of the humans should be a good indication). If you find it on sale and aren't expecting high production values or a lot of polish it could be a worthwhile spend.

The Styx prequels are in a similar boat but they're old school (read unforgiving as ****) stealth games instead of rpgs. Styx is also a real sassy bastard in all of the games and I love him for it Pause at their deaths for hilarious 4th wall breaking smack talk www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xuexLTXoys
