As much as I love to admit it, you are absolutely right.

The God-Emperor in Warhammer is a being without equal. Everything any man or woman strives to be and more
User avatar #11 to #4 - ashedust (04/10/2013) [-]
As much as I hate to admit it, you're probably right.

The Emperor in Star Wars was a sore disappointment. Nothing more than a puppet master with no power once the strings were cut.

as much as i hate to disagree

sithious was a You need to login to view this link the books.he was not only the strongest sith lord ever to grace the earth he was also strongest force user in the world.only one who has been able to beat him are luke skywalker(cloned version of sithious) and mace windu(might or might have not been just a ploy of his to lure anakin to darkside)

even yoda admitted that he would not be able to beat sithious in a fight when he went to fight him at the end of what is the third movie.

also he has pretty op powers that i think makes the god emperor of warhammer look like a weak baby

I disagree, yet I respect your opinion.
The God-Emperor forced an entire chapter of Space Marines to kneel before him with his mind.
Ten Thousand genetically enhanced super soldiers, all kneeling before him, because he thought "Kneel"

The Emperor is a Psyker. The strongest Psyker.
Even the four gods of Chaos fear him.

I believe that the God-Emperor would win in a fight.
Not to mention the fact that he has a magic flaming sword.
And, yes, a Lightsaber is over-powered as **** , and slices through everything like it's butter, but I doubt they'd get a chance to pull their Lightsaber out, if the God-Emperor didn't want them to.

I don't think that a lightsaber would be able to tear through a power swords energy field...

sidious does have protection againts mindraping but i must give up on that since the feat of making an army of ten thousand men kneel with mind rape is too impressive feat for me to win againts.
User avatar #32 to #15 - beerterror (04/10/2013) [-]
Damn right!

I always like to interpret the fight with Mace in favour of the Jedi, the Vaapad thing could have kinda surprise even so powerful a Sith as Palpatine was. And he was pretty OP, have you read "Darh Plagueis"? Perfect book about both of them.
#16 to #15 - ashedust (04/10/2013) [-]
Whelp, there you go. I have been shown up.

It's been so long since I've read the books. And the only ones I really remember are the ones about pre-trilogy Han Solo and the one where Luke marries the bounty hunter.

almost every race is W40k Lore has a God that is impossible to kill due to their sheer power (cept maybe Eldar, I don't know much about them other than they partied so hard that they accidentally created Slaanesh). I still think that very few things in Star Wars are on par with W40k, but I do know that Star Wars has some ridiculous people in it, power wise

btw I like that picture
User avatar #40 to #21 - angelious (04/10/2013) [-]
well in powewise the strongest thing i have heared to come out from star wars was a sentient sith staff that destroyed a galaxy.

Nihilus was a better sith lord than vader, he destroyed an entire planet save one person, and turned her into his slave. he used her because he could. he would have devoured the entire universe if he would have survived. he was so powerful that he stopped the aging of his crew, and held the ship together with his own will power, while fighting at least one master force wielder on/ above his level, and maybe 2 other force wielders, singlehandedly. and what did vader do, used a machine with obvious flaws to destroy one civilized "world". then look at malack, he created force sensitive clones to draw their life force to not only use the star forge, but to extend his own life. what did vader do, he tried to get his son, who was stronger in the force than him to help him over throw a ****** force wielder barely able to control lightning, and force push. i mean sure he did amazing research into how medicalorians affect longevity, and how to manipulate them. sure it was nearly a total flop, he could only "trick" them for so long, IE his "mask" that was destroyed after he started using his dark powers again.
User avatar #17 to #8 - theasguard (04/10/2013) [-]
Okay, first off, if you are going to try and explain the Sith Lords in a game, ******* learn to spell their name. On top of that you also need to learn to get the story straight, Darth Nihilus was a Darth not a ******* Lord, learn the difference. Finally, Revan was far beyond the combat abilities of Darth Nihilus, Darth Nihilus was a perfect force user but had long ago lost the ability to fight at full strength due to consuming so much power in his experiment.
User avatar #30 to #17 - beerterror (04/10/2013) [-]
Emperor was the most powerful Dark Side user in history, or so I've heard. Even C'baoth said, that "his power was limitless" or something like that. Besides, Vader was a cripple, and Nihilus was a mixture of ghosts of dead Sith Lords. And remember the limitations during filming the original Trilogy - look at Vader as pictured in Force: Unleashed.
User avatar #71 to #17 - silverzepher (04/10/2013) [-]
(i do believe he had a master at one point, but he was either thrown out, or he killed him can't remember his story too well), that ment he had no respect for those stronger than himself, look at Sion, he had respect for Kreia, and later his hatred for the Exile turned to respect, when he was shown that no matter how strong he was the Exile was stronger. the emperor would just ask them to bend the knee and be excepted into his empire, that isn't the way of the true sith, they killed the weak who tried to take over, and punnished those who wouldn't become strong. so you see all in all, comparing them Vader is small, and basically a nobody in the stories.
User avatar #70 to #17 - silverzepher (04/10/2013) [-]
Darth is the respective term for a sith lord, same as Darth Vader hur der, and sorry i added a c my mistake "Malak" sorry. yes Reven was far beyond Nilhilus' ability, but there is a difference between Reven and Vader, Reven was a true master of the force, he/she(depending on BOOK, or game choices) bent the force to his(using it asexually) will, he could change the future by just walking through a place, he killed without mercy, commanded respect, and could single handedly operate the star forge. he is technically still alive in the history, he left with the star forge to places unknown, and he is building his power there, according to Kreia, and is bringing the most powerful force users to his side(not sith or jedi, but to him). in commparison to Vaders "crippling, Nihilus was crippled far worse, so saying that because Vader was crippled he was weaker was BS, Nihilus was starting to come down from his last meal(Katarr), and was then searching for another meal, that was going to be Dantooine, but the Exiles basically force mask(similar to Nihilus himself) hid their presence by devouring the other jedi's radiant force, similar to how Nihilus "eats". this basically hid the jedi there from him, so he didn't see, feel, or hear them. so being a hungry, crippled, and loosing his one companion(well basically, she was the one he had put nearly full trust in) he still managed to hold a ship together, keep control over his slaves, fight against a master of the force, and maybe 2 other jedi. Vader pales in comparison. so does the emperor, sure he was smart, cunning, and persuasive, that means nothing in their world. his study to enhance life was most likely based off of Reven's own study. his "mask" was a skill many sith apprentices learned so they wouldn't be picked out of a crowd when they where sent on missions. his control over lighting was taught to him through a holocron, meaning he had no true master . . .
