I saw a few ones on TV.
Like, the REALLY old ones. Oh god, the effects are epic.

I've only seen two Star Trek films; one of them I don't remember past the fact that LeVar Burton was in it and the other was the 2009 film.

I'm a Star Wars fan through and through.

Then you must CERTAINLY either play DnD, or watch anime?

Might want to get on that.

Watch the older seasons. They're so campy that they're hilarious

I've seen all the Star Wars movies but no Star Trek.

Ladies and Gentlemen I'm the worlds first half-virgin.

You don't have to start with the original series. You can just start at Next Generation.

I'm trying to get into the navy. If I ever make captain, I shall have a log such as this lying around somewhere at all times
User avatar #107 to #89 - italianfrosttroll (05/27/2013) [-]
If your looking to make captain, start sailing recreationally 10 years ago and go into maritime college, then you might be an option. It takes a ridiculous amount of work, trust me, I was a sailor before a Marine.
User avatar #112 to #107 - anonrandom (05/28/2013) [-]
Thanks. With what country?
User avatar #113 to #112 - italianfrosttroll (05/28/2013) [-]
Sailed for a Norwegian ship, U.S. Marine
User avatar #114 to #113 - anonrandom (05/28/2013) [-]
Have you gotten far with either of them?
User avatar #115 to #114 - italianfrosttroll (05/28/2013) [-]
On the ship I was just an A.B but I only did that for a year and the experience and im a LCPL right now, but goin to college soon so I'll probs be a 2nd LT in a few years

Actually, it's even more important than Star Wars, considering the fact that it definitely contains a better story and bigger focus on human relationships.

FACT: the my little pony villain discord was based off of john de lancey's portrayal of Q in star trek... and they acutally got the same actor to voice the character.

Anyone else think the 2 new Star Trek movies are actually doing a really good job of bringing in a new generation of fans? In my opinion these 2 new ones were incredible, and I watched some of the older movies I'd never seen before since I'd never been interested in the series before
