Skyrim is a glitchy piece of **** if you play it more than an hour.

I hate how the more you play, the slower the loading is.

When it first came out I would agree with you. But after what, 9 updates, I have to say the improvement is huge. But to be fair a game as large as skyrim is bound to have some glitches even after a year or more after release. There are also tons and tons of mods that can help with the process, and as of now I haven't found anything, glitch, bug, or mod-wise that makes the game unplayable.

I want them to release a ******* patch that will let me turn in the Left Eye of the Falmer for the thieves guild. Bethesda DID kinda royally **** up on the quest coding for that.

Do you have the PC or console version? I never ran into that while doing the thieves guild questline.

Console version. If I could afford a gaming PC, I'd love to get one for Skyrim and all that good **** , the main reason I play console aside from monetary reasons is because all my friends do and I'd like to be able to talk to someone while I play. I really wish they could let you open up the console if you plug a usb keyboard in, and just block achievements regarding how you progressed through a quest. The thing is about the quest is that as far as I know, on console version they set the quest stage code to complete upon looting the eye, rather than turning it in.

Ah, well I have it on the PC so I don't know how it's like on console. I know that there used to be a glitch with esbern where he wouldnt talk or open the door to let you in and you would have to download a fix for it on the PC but it's fixed now. I don't know if it did that on xbox or ps3 but the thing I don't like about console games is you're stuck with what they give you.

True, but still, a lot of the bugs are still present and after all of the updates, you'd think many of them would be gone, atleast before they shell out a $20 expansion.

The only bugs that I really have run into for the normal game are minor ones with companions derping and such. Although with Dawnguard I have run into a few bugs that forced me to reload to an earlier save because I was not teleported somewhere that was a part of the main quest line for the dlc. I am grateful that it was released for PC, but perhaps a little too soon. That and the game itself was released a bit too soon, when some more bugs could have been worked out.

*fixed* My computer is a glitchy piece of **** if I play Skyrim for more than an hour. (and if you are on Xbox/PS3 that's your problem right there)
#323 to #321 - bobocrunch (08/07/2012) [-]
You're kidding me. All those patches that had to be put out for Skyrim, and **** is still broken. Dawnguard is what, three hours? And it's $20. It was an okay game for what it was, but if you actually play it for a while, it's just shallow and doesn't deserve the praise it got.

I'm telling you my game only ever bugged out when I downloaded conflicting mods, otherwise it ran perfectly.

And the glitchiness is exactly why i love it.

You like something because it doesn't work the way it's supposed to?

Do you also prefer your cars to come without brakes? Your keyboards without notes?

You are bad and should feel bad about it
#315 to #313 - anon (08/07/2012) [-]
You should probably update it then.
