In Dodgeball, yes.

that's the joke.jpg
That one scene in Dodgeball where the one guy had no idea there was a pirate on their team

They should make a movie where the villians are these green smurf looking intense bodyloveers, horrifying

Not sure how others feel about this movie, but I loved it. Sonny is one of my favorite fictional characters of all time.

At first I was disappointed because frankly, I love Asimov and I wanted... well, I, Robot. But it wasn't. It's an action movie based around the laws of Robotics that borrowed a title. So the second time I watched it, I looked at it that way, and I enjoyed it pretty greatly. It looked amazing, the acting (though not incredible) was solid, and the story isn't dumb.

i feel ashamed. for all my love of scifi, i have never picked up asimov.
User avatar #63 to #35 - Hreidmar (07/15/2014) [-]
That's quite all right. There's a lot of sci-fi out there, and not all of it can be read in a lifetime.

Since you are interested in Sci-fi, have you ever read Roadside Picnic?

It's gratifying to see proper trigger discipline enforced, even if the gun is a prop.

User avatar #54 to #4 - envinite (07/15/2014) [-]
Probably because if he put his finger in the trigger, the CGI team must work harder to edit the finger?

proper trigger discipline means never put you're finger on the trigger unless you mean to fire.

User avatar #38 to #36 - gitanisme ONLINE (07/15/2014) [-]
but it's a prop mate, not a gun

what exactly did I not understand.
I explained what trigger discipline is.. correctly.

User avatar #44 to #38 - pyrothermal (07/15/2014) [-]
First rule of gun safety: treat every gun as if it is loaded. EVERY gun.
Also I think it was easier for the animator to add in a robot finger than to erase his and put one in, especially since the trigger finger is going to be moving a lot more than the ones holding the gun.

It's not that you're using it wrong, it's that you're blowing a pretty unimpressive coincidence out of proportion. If it was something harder to believe it was coincidental, the joke would be funny, but as it is it's not very interesting.
