I heard its also very profitable, like easily a hundred bucks from desperate commissioners for a single picture. I don't have any experience myself, but it does seem like a good niche if you can draw the most depraved stuff without feeling sick to yourself.

I won't judge you much for what you are going to draw, but I suggest that you go at drawing in a way that makes you happy with yourself. Wouldn't want to loose that passion before it has a chance to bloom.

I don't make serious money off of commissions, but in the 3 years I have been seriously taking commissions, I have made well over 850 USD in commissions (Yes these get taxed at the end of the year). Most of it being furry transformation/babyfur art.

You can get by fine even if you won't do various fetishes, though you'll need to market yourself regardless.

Twitter is a popular arena for non-furry stuff, or at the very least for people wanting pictures of their characters in WoW or DnD or what have you. The only sure way to make a living from porn is furry or MLP. (usually involves OC). The only other way is to just be really good at drawing.

You can choose what to draw, at the end of the day you're the only who's creating this stuff.

It's pretty degrading, most porn artists just go with what they also like. Vanilla is the short stick because there's so much other content, and so little people willing to pay.
