actually, many species of trees have been proven to grow in fractal patterns. especially leaves, which are more obvious.

What's more is that some species, if left unhindered, seem to grow new trees that can be roughly predicted by fractal patterns.

Me and my calc teacher talked a lot in my free periods. One time we were talking about fractals and it came up. One of those things that just blew my mind.
